I broke my ankle in two places and needed to get extensive surgery with this clinic on 01/09/2025. I was told I could not walk for 12 weeks and then I had to learn to walk again. I lost my job because Im a full time bartender in a high volume location. The surgeon told me it would take me around 6 months to be back to normal where I could work my shifts again, since Im on my feet running around 8 hours per day. Its just been 4 months since my surgery and I still cant walk normal, Im limping, have numbness, etc. Epic Orthopedic told me they would extend my disability until the end of May 2025 but anything after would need to be extended by my primary care physician. I plan to go back to work July 1st so I was okay with that and made an appointment with my primary care to extend it one more time end of May to get me thru June 2025. I never received my payment Wednesday from disability so I went into the office and they told me when Epic Orthopedics filed the last form, they notated they were no longer servicing me which they are not supposed to do on a disability form. They were still servicing me for the last claim. I even have a voicemail from their receptionist confirming they are extending my disability one last time and then thats it. I called **** since I have no money to my name, cant pay my mortgage, cant buy food, nothingthey said they would call me back on Wednesday, never did. I called them today and now they are refusing to fix the claim form and leaving me with nothing to survive on. I have a clear voicemail from this company saying they are allowing the extension one last time and now over 2 weeks later, they are denying fixing the claim form and leaving me with nothing. Im disabled still and cant work, they arent allowing me my disability. This location has been nothing but negligent the full time Ive been here. The front desk receptionist hung up in my face after I complained about them not sending my meds into the pharmacy.
