    I received a billing statement from Lab24 LLC for the amount of $466.80 for various blood work for testing on 29 different drugs. I.e. cocaine, oxymorphone, opiates, etc with a visit date of May 30, 2023. The billing statement looks legit with a website that shows ** in ****** and an 800 phone number to make payment. I never had blood work done on that date nor did my Doctor ever have my blood work ordered for any of these tests. Plus when I called the 800 number to explain its a fault billing, I was put on hold and after a couple minutes got disconnected. It happened 3 times. Last the spelling of my first name is different on the bill statement.

    Good afternoon, 

    Letter was received in mail on 11.9.23 I ************************* am responding to this complete on 11.13.23. I am the Director of Operations and manage accounts for Lab24,LLC.  I have pulled all the appropriate information for ***************** on this lab request. I have attached the web order placed by an MA at Northeaster ******************* on 5.30.23 by *************************** order Provider was ********************************* NPID ********** for a comprehensive drug test through urine. I also have the lab reports if ****************** would like to obtain from the lab. These results were delivered to her provider on 6.1.23. Often times patients are unaware a clinic will use outside labs for services so we understand that it can be confusing. Reason for the statement to be sent was no insurance was provided for ***************** from the ordering clinic Northeaster Rural Health if there is active insurance at the time of this service we are happy to bill and adjust the statement when cleared by the insurance claim. I have also spoke to the sister location for Northeaster which is ******** and explained. I spoke with *************************** and confirmed the patients visit in their chart and ******** will be reaching out to the patient as well to ensure she is explained as to why she received a statement from us at Lab24. If there is anything else we can do to assist we are happy to do so.
