    Beginning well more than a year ago, but intensifying over the last two months, I have been demanding that this business stop sending paper mail addressed to a former resident of my home (this resident vacated this property more than ten years ago) and to update this person's address to reflect their current address. And, yet, mail addressed to this person continues to arrive.I received written assurance, date and timestamped "Wednesday, February 28, 2024 4:27 PM", that the problem had been resolved. However, jut yesterday, as has happened over and over and over again, more mail addressed to this long ago resident arrived. When I reached out to the company (again) yesterday also in writing to demand that they stop engaging in this behavior, I received a duplicate assurance that "this time" the problem had been fixed. Given the long history of this company's failure to accomplish my request (and knowing first hand that the former resident has also made repeated attempts over the last year+plus to convince the company to update it's mailing database to reflect his current address) I am now forced to reach out to your office for assistance in resolving this absurdly simple matter.

    In this complaint, a non-Esri customer has been receiving two ********************** trade publications that were intended for a former resident of Kai's current home.  *** has been unsuccessful in have Esri stop sending the publications to ***'s address.

    Esri's Marketing team was made aware of this issue in January 2024 but the unsubscribe website that processes such requests experienced downtime, resulting in a backlog of over 1000 unsubscribe requests. Esri was able to process the request on February 28 but, unfortunately, this was too late to stop the distribution of the April editions of two trade publications by the contractors that Esri uses to manage distribution.  As a result, *** received the April editions. 

    I have escalated this issue to the team manager, who confirms that *** has been removed from the distribution list and should not receive any further editions of these publications. Additionally, the manager plans to reach out directly to *** today with this message.

    Esri apologizes for the inconvenience both to *** and to the rightful recipient of the publications.
