    Had a rental car from 8/29-09/01. I created a pay by plate account to pay the tolls I accrued. Now there is $3.60 pending on the account for tolls 9/21 when I no longer had the vehicle. Illinois ******************* and ******** spoke to me about this. ****** was extremely rude and unpleasant and when I asked to speak to a manager for further clarification, she kept repeating the same thing. I asked for a manager multiple times before she hung up on me. I called back and spoke with ******** who stated the tolls cannot be removed due to the fact that the license plate wasnt removed from my account until 10/10 and to ignore the constant texts and emails I am getting for this balance. I do not feel that ignoring the problem will make it go away. There needs to be resolution into this as I shouldnt have to pay for tolls I did not accrue after proving them the rental agreement as requested. I also shouldnt have to hold outstanding debt in my name that isnt mine.

    On 3/13/23 I had to use the tollway for a business trip. I am from out of state, and since there is not one manned toll booth or way to physically pay while traveling I set up an iPass account with all of my information to cover any toll expenses as the website instructed. Fast forward to today I recieve a bill in the mail for not only the tolls, but a $3 fee for each toll missed. Almost $30 in late/service fees for tolls I had already set up to pay and was never invoiced for!! I was checking my account weekly and not one bill, in fact there still is not one mention of any due toll fees!! I contacted customer service and was told there was nothing they could do and that I just had to pay! Ridiculous!! I did everything I was supposed to do and I'm still expected to pay for late fees that are in no way my fault!? This system is nothing more than a scam to extort money out of travelers and should be illegal!!!!
