    I paid this gunsmith to do major remodeling on a gun. He promised he would complete it in 3 months. I gave him the gun, $100 in deposit, and the parts to repair it. It has been years since I gave him the gun, he has not finished the work, he has blocked me on all communication methods and will not return the gun or the parts. He demanded an additional $100 for his partial work completed which I paid via Paypal and he has still not returned anything. I do not want any more work completed and I want my property returned to me.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This business blocked me after demanding I show up 12 hours later on a Monday the day after to pick up the gun when I was working. Any follow up attempts to facilitate a transaction was not possible because the business owner refused to communicate and fled out of state. After paying him the money he requested via PayPal, he refused to return the gun. I will attempt to resend the money a second time and possibly necessitate a follow up complaint.

    I blocked ****** after he threatened to show up at my house with an AR 15, and hinted that his "buddies" had M249s.
    I didn't read anything about paypal in the court judgement.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This is again another form of bad faith acting by the business in an attempt to keep my property with no attempt to work towards a resolution.

    You were required to return the property once paid. You were paid. Considering you live halfway across the country, there are few other alternatives to Paypal to begin with. Sending you a check or cash in the mail would be ridiculous; there's no form of recourse in the likely scenario you just take the money and run, which you show a common inclination of doing so in the past. You received the funds, hence you were paid. The order did NOT specify I had to pay you in cash, etc... Not only that but YOU also did not state how you wish to be paid. Thus, it's my prerogative to choose how I want to pay you and thus I paid you in a manner convenient to me and considered legally acceptable tender. You failed to uphold your obligation by returning my property. Next thing I know you'll be demanding payment in ******* Rubles and then claiming I haven't paid you lol! It's a nonsensical argument!

    So you block people when you're scared or have a difficult customer? Great excuse to block everyone and then take their belongings. Not only that but the PD considered my conversation entirely legal lol! I'm allowed to exercise my rights in the lawful attempt to regain my property and that's what transpired. You not only blocked me but you CONTINUE to refuse to accept payment or discuss a resolution. You're intentionally blocking or refusing to communicate in order to create a reason to keep my property when I've attempted twice now to facilitate a return, even when I've paid you.

    BBB this matter is unresolved please do not close.
