Date: 05/06/23.Amount" $200.Job to be performed: Remove old tint and install new tint.Dispute: The Business damaged my rear window defrost (circuitry). What happened: I took my car to have an old tint removed and a new one installed. When I got my car back, close to a month passed before I needed to use the rear defrost. It didn't work. After attempting to use it a couple more times with no luck, I called ************** back and explained the situation. They asked me to come in to see what the problem was. I went there and spoke to ** and from the get go, he was trying to avoid responsibility. He said that the company was under new management and they weren't responsible. I told him that as long a the business had the same name, I didn't care who was managing it, ************** was responsible. Then he looked for the problem and removed a panel in the back corner and found the problem. A part of the circuitry had become loose. He claimed that his worker never removed the panel (even though he wasn't there when the work was done). I told him that I have had this car since 2016 and that I had never had an issue until they worked on my back window. He asked me to leave the car and he would attempt to fix it, and that we would talk about further options after if he couldn't fix it. I left it there and he called me the next day to pick up my car saying it was fixed. After picking up my car, it took a couple weeks for the morning weather to be chilly enough for me to try and use the rear defrost. Once again, it didn't work. I called back and have been getting the run around since. The guy who is actually there tells me to leave a message on the answering machine. I called numerous times and ** will not call me back. I've asked for **'s number but they will not give it to me. I emailed but haven't received a response. This has been going on for months now.

I don&#**;t know really where to begin other than I paid $600 cash to have an Audi A4 windows all tinted. After finding hair under the windshield and bubbles on the windshield I found bigger bubbles on the back window and bubbles on the side windows. I return to the window tinting business 3 times and was turned away saying either I came on the wrong day which I can prove we communicated on that and then he kept telling me his window tinter wasn&#**;t coming in or for some reason he didn&#**;t have me on his schedule. I told him I&#**;m from ******* and had to leave soon so hes trying to Is delay the process. To be honest I owned a window business in ***** ******** and none of my clients would have accepted this work. I have pictures if you&#**;d like them. This guy needs to be put out a business if this is the quality of his work.
