We haven't received money owing to us from over payment nor any service these past two months. I have called 9 times since March 18/24. We used to get monthly service (we set up monthly automatic withdrawal), then service became every 2 months when we added a service (forgot to change our automatic withdrawal). March 18-spoke to an answering service rep; explained the situation and was told someone from billing would call back. NO return call.March 20-called Zap, this time spoke to their receptionist(same person for all following calls), explained situation, asked for Billing to call me. She said she was forwarding a note to them. Also told me we were due for service in March. No return call from Billing.March 25-I called & was told the request for refund had gone to corporate office.***** 8-called & told receptionist our property wasn't serviced. She said she was sending a note to the Service department.***** 15-still no service. I called & was told our address was not on the schedule yet. Customer received service today (day of complaint) and the refund check was sent out on 4.20.24. Customer has refused scheduled services during this time as well. DONT want to argue or arbitrate. Customer was sent a check for their account balance and received service prior to filing this complaint. I am tired of BBB being weaponized against this company and am no longer interested in accreditation or access to me through this platform. Thank you.

During a routine service, it was suggested that I have a rodent guard placed on the bottom of my garage door. Based on the suggestion, I received an estimate from Zap for the installation of the rodent guard. I agreed to have the work done. Due to scheduling conflicts the work was pushed back several times. On 12-15-23 the installation was done, or at least attempted. During the installation process the installers loosened the springs for the garage door and let the garage door slam to ground 3 different times. This caused the garage door springs to loosen and making the garage door inoperable. The installers did not have the equipment or knowledge on how to tighten or fix the garage door. The installers recommended I contact a garage door company to now fix my garage door. The installers advised they would advise their company of the issue and they would reach out to me. The following day I scheduled a garage door company to come out and inspect the garage door. The inspector stated that the springs for the garage door were too lose when prevented the garage door from opening. Their suggestion due to the age of the springs, that they be replaced. I replaced them so I could get my garage door to work costing $1,500.00. After three days of not hearing back from Zap I reached out to them. It took several days for them to call me back. Finally I spoke with *** with ***. I requested that a comprise be made, knowing that the springs were old and would have needed to be replaced within a few years. *** stated he would call me back with an offer. Due to holiday season, I agreed with *** that we would discuss the compromise after the new year. I contacted *** on 1/10/24, 1/16/24, 1/23/24 and 2/6/24 and left messages requesting a callback. I have not heard back from *** or Zap. I have called the company several times requesting a call back but have not received one. On 2/6/24 I called Zap requesting another call back. I was advised that there was a balance owed of $500.00.

This guy paid ** zero dollars. He had to expedite repairs but they were needed nonetheless. All work was done with informed consent of the potential issues with the door. When the door got fixed our product works fine.
