I purchased a vehicle through CarsFromWest, a broker that allows customers to bid on cars listed by ******. The car I bought (VIN: *****************, Copart Lot: ********) was advertised with no mechanical defects, yet upon delivery, I discovered a major transmission failure. This issue was never disclosed in the listing, and it significantly affects the vehicles drivability.I contacted CarsFromWest to request a refund based on this false and misleading advertising, but they refused to accept any responsibility. Meanwhile, ****** has released the title in their name, and I am being asked to sign the transfer documentssomething I refuse to do, since I do not want to accept ownership of a car that was misrepresented.I am filing this complaint to formally request assistance in obtaining a refund and to alert other consumers to this unethical practice. The business should be held accountable for deceptive advertising and unfair trade practices. If needed i can get a mechanical report about the transmission problem.

Their customer service is terrible and I had to keep on them about when I might be getting my car. They did not let me know on their own about the delivery. I had to keep asking them when. They advertised that this was a clean title. I get the vehicle delivered and then the paperwork they sent to me arrives. I took the paperwork to my county tax office (where we do transfer of title, vehicle registration, etc.) that very same day, 04/16. There is clearly a lien holder on the front of the title so the county would not transfer title and told me that I needed proof that the car was paid-off and the form the bank issued to show this would be pink.I go home and email CarsFromWest and tell them that this title is not clean, provide a scan of the title showing that there is a bank as lien holder, and they need to provide proof that the car is paid off. They tell me that I am wrong, the title is clean. I point out that there is a lien holder listed on the title and I tell them that they need to provide proof to me that the car is paid for so that I can get the title in my name.A couple of days later, they show me a scan of a form that was given to the auction by the bank. I told them to send it to me, I would see if the state would accept it but if they didn't what the state already told me needs to be done. Then they come back with, "They would need something official from the *** stating what is needed.I get the form they had from the bank, take it up to the county. Since they wrote 'Exempt' all over the title they had from their state as mileage, my state needs a form filled out stating the actual mileage. The agent at the county wrote out what is needed and I sent it to them. I provided an official list. They refuse to fill out this form for me. The agent told me to get a new bill of sale that only lists the actual cost of the car. That is on the list. They refuse to do so. How am I supposed to get this title changed over? Big headache.

March 8th I bought a car from ****** after all the fees it was *******. I was supposed to get it delivered by another company and experienced issues. I told them about it they were unwilling to help. I asked them to refund my deposit ******* because per their terms and conditions I would be refunded after I completed my purchase. They then switched it and said I would have to pick the car up. I have not been refunded. They started charging me storage fees because the car was not being picked up. They began threatening me saying theyd take the car and not refund me anything. Ive called plenty of times and the customer service is terrible they have rude people who dont know anything. Theyre all really rude they should not even be in business. I should be refunded this wasnt my fault and I told them what happened I asked if they could deliver the car they said theyd hear something would charge me an additional *******. I said I was unable to do that Im a single mother I just needed a car. I see why they received the rating they did I will sue the owner I have all of his information ready to send to my lawyer. I expect to be refunded.

Purchased a vehicle, paid for shipping. Was told it would take 1 to 3 days to pick up the vehicle from the lot, then shipped. Here we are over 10 days later and they haven't been able to figure out shipping. 825 of the money paid was for shipping. I was told if I paid the amount prior to business open on that Monday they would be able to ship it. I did so. Now they are saying I need to pay a 130 storage fee for the car being there, because of their ineptitude to find a courier. They are holding the shipping and deposit til I pay them that. Absolutely not. I have not signed the bill of sale, as in that document it says it has been bought and delivered. It has not been. I want a full refund, and no longer want the vehicle. I suspect some type of illegal activity at this business. They want me to pay more money to get my own money back for services not rendered. Please help me. I want a full refund and to wash my hands of this company.

Our client purchased a vehicle at Copart auction, and we act as the broker for this auction. We believe that our client's complaint is unfair and aimed solely at attempting to return the vehicle through deception, as their purchase did not meet their expectations. However, according to the terms and conditions of both the Copart auction and our website carsfromwest.com, all vehicles are sold on an "as is, no warranty" basis. The client was twice informed of and accepted the terms and conditions - upon registration on our website and upon deposit payment. The client independently selected the vehicle and placed a winning bid. They paid for the vehicle and delivery. We arranged a driver for the vehicle's delivery, but the transportation company canceled the driver. We notified our client about this. According to our terms and conditions, CARSFROMWEST acts as a shipping broker and assumes no responsibility for damages during transportation or any associated losses or shipping delays. This responsibility lies solely with the shipping company, not CARSFROMWEST. CARSFROMWEST is also not responsible for any storage fees or additional gate fees incurred if the shipping company picks up the lot late.

As the client wished to pick up the vehicle themselves, we refunded the full payment for the vehicle delivery ($825). We can provide evidence of the refund upon request (date of refund, amount, transaction ID). Our client visited the auction site a few days later, and the auction charged storage fees according to its rules. The client behaved aggressively towards the Copart auction staff, made racist remarks, and was extremely rude, leading to Copart refusing to release the vehicle due to unacceptable behavior. The client picked up the vehicle the next day, as confirmed by Copart records. Afterward, the client requested a deposit refund, which was refunded in full ($600), which we can also confirm. Additionally, we sent the client a bill of sale, which the client signed, as well as the original title and reassignment form, all confirmed by ***** records and Esign electronic signature.

The client states, "I want a full refund, and no longer want the vehicle." Unfortunately, this is not possible because, according to auction rules, all vehicles are sold on an "as is, no warranty" basis. Renouncing the purchase due to "I no longer want the vehicle" is not possible; the client must comply with and respect the terms and conditions, just as we comply with all rules and fulfill our obligations. The client claims to want a refund for services not provided, but this is untrue. We fully refunded the payment for vehicle delivery and returned the client's deposit. In our opinion, the client is disappointed with their own choice of vehicle and wants to return the money unlawfully, refusing to comply with the terms and conditions. We consider the client's behavior unacceptable, but we strive to provide our best service to every client. Our support service has consistently responded to all client questions and complaints, including during evenings and weekends. We believe that we have fulfilled all our obligations: provided the opportunity to select and purchase a vehicle at the Copart auction without a dealer's license, did everything in our power to deliver the vehicle, refunded all funds to the client, processed all necessary documents, and sent them to our client. We would appreciate it if our client would review our arguments and understand that we provided them with truly quality service. We are attaching a link to our terms and conditions, which the client accepted.
