These systems are complete ***** garbage! I purchased mine through ADC Mobile and **** was of help at first, but won't respond at all and Linkswell will not respond to anything on ********* Buttons are rubbing off within 2 months of ownership, sent **** the pictures via text on 7/13/2023 with no response. The climate control screen keeps popping up without even touching the display. Screen goes black without any response (had to pull over and turn my truck off and back on to get it to come back up). Some times I will get nothing but bass and no vocals until a few minutes and then it comes back on. System takes forever to switch over to backup camera upon initial startup. Sound via microphone when on a call sounds horrible on the receiving end. I can keep going. Do yourself a favor and avoid this system all together. Mine is installed in a 2020 **** F250. I will be removing soon!

I purchased a Tesla style touch screen(5th gen system) for my 2nd gen Tacoma, at first the system worked well, but after a few weeks I started to get a hissing noise in the speakers when the system was on and the volume was at low or 0, I sent and email to them they told me the systems wasnt installed correctly from the installer. So I went back to ** and ***s in La mesa Ca.. When they went thru the install they said it was the internal amp was bad in the system and not from install or interference from my Truck. I am a degree'd professional Mechanical Engineer as well as a FCC licensed Amateur radio operator. I know a thing or two about RFI. I am still waiting now for ** and **'s to get a replacement system. It has been 2weeks plus and still nothing, no emails or anything. So I have given enough time for a resolution as well as return contact from Linkswell and Al And ed's so now the bad reviews over horribly expensive products with even worse customer service. Linkswell was happy to point the finger at ** and **'s when it was their defective product. Now Im stuck with a 1200 dollar hunk of crap.

From LinksWell Automotives Tech Center: I was not aware of the bad review, but I was the last one to message him through email. He was saying that the radio bezel was popping out of the dash and his wife had to hold it in place. . It wasn’t installed correctly. On top of that since install he was having a bad popping/hissing sound from the speakers. So I said it sounds like the radio wasn’t installed correctly and he would need to return to the installer/dealer to have them look at to see if there was any damage or to reinstall it correctly. I never got a response if he did or didn’t do that.
What he said on March 20,2023 - “Hello, I have a 2011 Tacoma with a 5th gen linkswell tesla touchscreen installed by ** and ***s in La Mesa Ca. I am looking for tech advise. I am getting a loud hissing and odd noise from the speakers, it has been like this near as long as the system has been installed, even with the volume at 0. Also I offroad/overland and the system keeps popping out of the dash board where I have to have my wife hold it in place or I have to stop and keep trying to adjust wires and repop the system back in, its getting very old. In the last month the system now takes forever, near 3 minutes to boot, 5 minutes to all functionality available even is bluetooth and carplay are turned off. The system and install were on 9/28/2022. please help. E*** S********”
My response March 20, 2023 -“ It sounds like the unit may not have installed properly. There should not be any hissing or odd noise from speakers. The radio should be securely placed. I imagine since it wasn’t securely placed, that some of the connections in the back are coming loose or may be damaged. I would take your unit to a partnered dealer and have them take a look at it and see if there is any damage and or to reinstall the unit.”
There was no response after that about the result of if he did or not.
