      This company does not have the means to protect consumers I have been hacked, and they cant reimburse me and then file an investigation they want to take your monies call you and not help you. Stay away!!! Do not open an account here

      My Mom had an account with Altura in the name of her Revocable Trust. She passed away 11/29/2023. Notified Altura the next business day and subsequently sent them a death certificate. As I am Successor Trustee of her trust I've been trying to close her acct. This process has been a nightmare. Altura asks for documentation to be sent to their legal **** by expedited mailing. Although they already have the documents I oblige. Weeks go by and I call for status but I'm not allowed to speak to anyone handling my Mother's Trust because that is what they have member service reps for; or I am not a signer on the acct or someone will return my call. Then another request for documentation a month or so down the road. Now 5 months after her death they want me to become a member and complete an account agreement and a certifcation of trust. They will not give me any instructions on how to complete the form but suggest I seek legal representation. I am disgusted with the treatment I have received from this financial institution.It's hard enough to deal with the loss of my Mom but to be forced to hire an attorney. Will the attorney cost more the the balance in the account? Never in my almost 70 years on this earth have I been more disrespected. Reason for 2 stars is the kindness and understanding of their customer service representatives.

      I’m disappointed to say that my experience with this bank has been incredibly frustrating. I deposited ERC government checks over a month ago, and despite numerous attempts, they still haven’t managed to clear or verify them. This level of inefficiency and lack of urgency is truly disheartening.
      I understand that these checks are important to me, and I expected a basic level of competence from a bank. Unfortunately, that seems to be lacking here. I’ve wasted so much time and energy trying to get this issue resolved, only to be met with ongoing confusion and inability to provide a solution.
      Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this bank to anyone. Their inability to handle such a basic task and their lack of responsiveness is a major concern. I will be looking into other options that can provide better service and reliability.

      Altura has helped me position myself for success as I have gotten more serious about proving myself and my career altura has found ways to make sure I had the means. Abraham has been relentless in helping me get my first car get funding for school and licensing fees as well as any refi I wouldn't recommend putting your money and trust anywhere else
