On 6/14/24, I bought a vintage car from this estate sale company for $4000.00 via ***** on the phone. I was recovering from foot surgery and not able to drive or walk well. I personally spoke with the owner on the phone, ****** *******, to complete the sale. A friend of mine was at the location to request buying it. This friend was also a friend of the owner, ******, whose employee escorted him from the long line, to the car to mark it sold past all the other customers already there. My friend then picked up the car on June 15 and took it to his house to resell for us to make a profit on. Due to his lack of interest in reselling the car after several requests and no response back, I asked him to bring the car to me for reselling. On 4/21/24, I contacted ****** for a copy of the bill of sale since I paid for car and needed to resell it. She stated she would have to look in her records for a copy but she knows my friend and remembers the sale. No response back from her. I made 2 other calls with messages, 1 email and 1 text. Her email stated that she does keep records and they were deleted after 6 months (end of the year). Her text message stated demeaning remarks to me and to leave her alone. She does not have a copy of the bill of sale and it was given to my friend. I mentioned I would hate to report this to BBB, her response was to go for it . Numerous issues with this situation: 1. I believe she does have a bill of sale copy but wont provide me with one. 2. **** of sale should be in my name since I paid for the car. 3. Due to her friendship with my ex-friend, I believe they conspired together to have me pay for car and then him keep it. Im also unsure if the price is correct since I cannot get any information from the owner.4. Her lack of response and attitude is very unprofessional for such a simple request. This is suspicious to me of hiding something. I can provide copies of the email and text where I believe I was very polite and respectful.
