On December 18 2022, I went into LA Fitness in ******************* and signed up for a gym membership, a 6 month personal training membership, and a 1 year Club Pilates membership. On May 30 2023, I reached out to the email ********************* which was provided to me by the operations manager at LA Fitness, so that I could cancel my membership. I explained to them that I had gone into the LA Fitness location to cancel my membership, and was told that LA Fitness had sold the program to a third party and I would need to speak with Club Pilates. I was never informed of the change and was reaching out to cancel my membership. No one ever responded to that email. Since then, I have called LA Fitness multiple times to try and reach someone at Club Pilates since their website states that you have to cancel at the location the membership was purchased. The employees at LA Fitness keep telling me that they do not have a contact at all for any employee at Club Pilates and that I have to cancel with one of their employees, which is contradictory to what the Club Pilates website says. As of December 18 2023, my contract was up. However, I have been billed monthly since the contract expiration by Club Pilates, and I have not been able to reach an employee that works there at all. Tonight, February 18 2024, at 5:44 pm, I called and spoke to an LA Fitness employee yet again, and they still can't provide me with a contact at Club Pilates and admitted that they have been trying to contact them too. The only advice they offered was to go to their website and try to find a contact for them, or come into the location Monday-Friday between the hours of 9-5 to speak to the manager. If I don't hear from Club Pilates soon, I will be seeking legal advice and speak with my bank to reverse the charges. I will also be submitting a separate complaint for LA Fitness since they do business with third party companies that they can't provide any contact or resolution for their customers.

I had sent an email in January 10 2023 to cancel my membership with Pilates and they did not
cancelled and kept charging me until May 2023. I did not notice because I had automatic payments. I called to let them know and told me that another company has taken over the previous company and couldn't do anything about that. I followed my only contract that I sign to send an email when time comes to cancel and that is what I did. I am being punish for following my contract.
