    Guyou Construction was recommended by California Showcase Construction to handle solar repairs for us. The experience has been less than satisfying. They did the work (we needed a new inverter after 3 years years), but the technician failed to make sure we could monitor our solar output. We have tried multiple times to get assistance and they simply do not answer the phone or return phone calls. Apparently, return business is not important to them.

    I signed a $50,000 contract with Guyou Construction in August 2022 for an additional solar panel installation. The project involved installing customer-supplied inverter and batteries to complement an existing Tesla system. I was assured by the salesperson that even though their inverter was listed on the contract, we would be using my own. This turned out to be the beginning of a nightmare. Not to mention they backed out of installing the batteries they agreed to originally install.In February 2024, they marked the project as complete, despite both my concerns and those of their technician that 12 of the newly installed panels were only producing about half the expected energy. The excuse? It was an incredibly cloudy month, and they advised me to give it some time. Well, time passed, and the problem persisted.Ive contacted Guyou Construction at least 10 times, requesting repairs. They finally offered to send someoneat an additional service charge! To make matters worse, I recently discovered that one of the panels is sitting half off the roof brackets, barely hanging on and posing a serious safety hazard.Their so-called 10-year workmanship warranty is a joke. Its all smoke and mirrors. The entire experience has been a disaster, from the prolonged year-and-a-half installation to their complete lack of post-installation support.If you value your time, money, and safety, I highly recommend steering clear of Guyou Construction. They do not stand by their work, and their service is atrocious.

    We had the pleasure of having Guyou Construction install solar panels and required equipment at our home as well as meeting the City Inspector for final inspection
    For installation and inspection, Jon, Jason and Robert were fabulous. They kept the exterior work area clean, were very safety oriented and kept us updated every step of the way. Their work truck was clean and stocked for the job. They also completed the work on time.
    Their office staff was pleasant and accommodating and followed up with us to assure we were satisfied. That’s customer service!
    I highly recommend Guyou and their staff. A+ company.
