    I moved into Grandmarc on 09/22/2021. When I moved in, the apartment was filthy. I will attach images that show the dirty carpets, floors, walls, and kitchen area caked with food and dust. Upon moving out on 08/27/2022, I was charged $305 for cleaning fees. When I moved out, I meticulously cleaned the apartment. I will also attach pictures of how I left the apartment. I have yet to receive even a partial security deposit back which violates California law in which I should get my security deposit back within 21 days. Additionally, I was not going to complain formally about this but with this situation I feel it’s necessary. The maintenance crew would enter my unit with no warning. I was woken up one day with a maintenance member standing in my doorway. They do not announce before entering.

    ******* your tenancy was important to us. We do see here that you have been in dispute of your final account statement, and that we have responded to with invoices for all charges that was on your final account statement. We have already issued your refund check. Please notify the leasing office if you have still yet to receive it. As for maintenance entering your unit without notifying you of it: our maintenance staff does have the right to enter any unit to complete work orders, conduct quarterly inspections, and conduct the turning of units when the tenants move out. I can assure you all of our staff have been well trained on how to enter every unit regarding announcing themselves. We do apologize if you feel that the announcements made did not meet your expectations. We understand it can be frustrating to have our maintenance team in units when you did not request them to however, we do lease per a bedroom and there are other occupants in the unit as well.
