Received phone call about sending out free items to look at. No mention of being billed for anything. Had invoice in box for amount due of $529.90 and did not want the items. Called to get return authorization number and automated message said place was closed in middle of afternoon. Will be sending back without RA # and will be returning items and not sending any payment for any of it. Date 8Apr25 Invoice ****** Inland Empire Industrial Supply ************************************************* ************ I have a farm in *******, ** called ******************************. I received a cold call from their sales representative ***** *****. He offered to send me some free samples of products that I might need. He stated it would be a pair of disposable gloves, small bottle of hand soap, one pair of disposable safety glasses and one drill bit. The drill bit was too show the quality of the sharpness of the product. At no point did he claim that the items were not free samples. A package arrived 12 April 25 of a large drill set and full size other items. Along with an invoice for a (special promo package - drill - a) costing $529.90.The invoice states that I have ********************************************************************* I have to pay for them. I contacted them for return and they stated they would send a prepaid shipping label to me and have yet to get it. The Transaction was aproximately November 20 2023.The amount that they are trying to collect is ******. They sent me some misc tools in a box that i haven't opened so im not sure what is actually in the box. i was waiting on them to call to see if i rec or if i was happy with tools ..So on the date the salesman called me he said he wondered if i did my own maintenance on my commercial truck i told him yes. I told him i was not interested in anything because i already had tools to take care of anything i needed. He then said he would throw in this and that and i would love them. I told him i didn't need them and then he said he was throwing in more stuff and asked if my address was still the same. I'm unaware where he obtained it but I said yes. He said i will be getting the stuff in a few weeks. I said again, i would be sending it back. He proceeded to tell me to try the tools and i would change my mind once the stuff got here. So sometime in December the box shows up. I took it from my porch to my shop and did not open it. i was waiting on a call or something from them. Then on Monday the 15th of Jan i received a past due notice. I called them and spoke to a ********************* and he told me that there was nothing i could do since it had been beyond 30 days like it says on the invoice. I asked him where the invoice was and he claims in the box that i did not open and all i can do is to pay the bill. He stated if i did pay he would send me more stuff to offset me paying for it. I told him i would send box back at my expense because i didn't want the tools. He said that they would not "receive" the box. In other words he would refuse the delivery and i would still have to pay, I then requested to speak to a supervisor. He claimed he was the supervisor. i told him i would contact the BBB. I had a friend that was with me and heard this whole conversation. I just want to send the box back to them and be done with this issue.Initial Complaint

I was called by a sales man by the name of ********************* from inland empire industrial tools and supply on 01/08/24. ***** asked for my name and if he can send me a free sample of tools to my home in hopes we like to tools and chose to order after the trial. I said sure, gave him my address. I received a package today 01/17/25 with tools and an invoice for $535.90. I did not order anything nor authorize and order for these tools. When I called and explained the situation, the representative from Inland Empire told me it wasnt a sample and if anything was opened I would be charged for it. I then told them I would be happy to return it, as this is not what the sales representative told me on the phone. She told me I would have to pay for shipping to return it back. I said I did not order this from the start, I was promised a sample and I have no idea what arrived to my house. They were no help. I checked the reviews on their business and theyve had multiple complains and bbb complaints against them. This is one more.Initial Complaint

This situation occurred in August of 2023. I received a call from a sales rep pitching me on a set of tools that were "for free". I was extremely skeptical being that nothing is "for free". The sales rep INSISTED I accept the product. I asked ******* multiple times "what is the catch" ******* responds 'there is no catch, we will send you the tools to your address (proceeded to say my exact address which I never gave to him) then he said there is no payment or card required.Beings that I was being hounded to accept this "free product" I said "ok you can send it but this is a free product, there is no catch, correct?" the sales rep confirms "no catch , free product." The address the product was sent to was my moms, not the property which I rent at and I certainly was not on the look out for a package / product had no desire to have. Time goes by and I completely forgot this transaction ever occurred. One month later I get a call from Inland asking for card information to pay for this product !!!! I had to be reminded of what they were even talking about. !!! They stated any free products are required to be returned within x amount of days or else I would have to pay!! ABSURD . SCAM . THIEVES. I immediately told them I can return the product now, it was never opened I have no need or want for it your sales rep insisted he send it to me since it was free. They got defensive , rejected my request and demanded I pay for this product. After explaining the situation they had zero remorse as if this is something they do on a daily basis. I proceeded to do research on the company and ironically hundreds of people had the same issue!! Now I am being hounded by these con artist every day. I do not want the product. These low lift criminals do not deserve DIME of my dollar. They are now going after my credit which has always been in GREAT standing. This company is designed to trick you into a financial pigeon hold. When I asked for return information I was denied and hung up on several times. They cold call and then persuade you to take a look at there products and you have so many days to return it. When you call to return they do not cooperate. Got a call wanting me to try out some tools said that I could send them back if i didn’t like them. So sent me some tools that was not even what they said they were sending with no return label. Finally got in touch with them to figure out how to send tools back and said that it had been over 30 days they wouldn’t accept them so on the invoice it says I could pay a restocking fee so I called back and a lady said sure send card information on the invoice and they would handle it and the restocking fee. So I sent tools back have the tracking number where they signed for it and have 4 witnesses that all tools that was on the invoice was in the package along with card information. Once i seen they had signed for package i called to make sure that the restocking fee payment was processed and they told me that all tools were not in the package Even though they First Lady that i talked to said they received the tools once I told here i had witness and pictures that all tools were in the package she hung up on me. Now they keep calling me and harassing me saying that i have an outstanding balance. This is nothing but a scam and it’s all over the the internet about being a scam. This company called me on the phone to peddle tools. I tried several times to politely decline the "offer" but they wouldn't take no for an answer. Ultimately I told them they could send the tools to me but I also explained I was an OTR truck driver and I am on the road 45-60 days at a time. I have requested several times that they send me a return shipping label so I could return these tools. I don't need them, I don't want them and I don't appreciate the high pressure sales tactics this company uses to force consumers to "try" their product, They are now stating that I am outside of the 30 day trial period and am prohibited from returning these tools that have never been opened or used. I was contacted by a gentleman he told me they had some drillbits that cost $499 if I would take a look at the product and like it sent for 99 before my time they sent me some other products that was free some gloves Some safety glasses some hand stuff and he told me for me taking the time to look at it it would be free. Upon getting the package I read the refund policy and the refund policy states that everything needed to be returned if I did not purchase the $500 drillbits. So I want my refund because that’s not what he explained to me . When I called and spoke to the supervisor Miss ***** she was nasty and was trying to tell me the policy on the invoice that they sent me and that I’m not disputing but that is not what the representative said when he called me initially. I had to spend $45 to send back the package and if I would’ve known that I would’ve never asked for them to send it
