We initially got a phone call about five months ago from a man named *****, who claimed to be with Quickbooks Software. He stated that he needed to re-install some files because the version Quickbooks that our office was using had a corrupt file. His contact phone number is ************. There was one instance when he called into the office on 8/12/22 at 12:23pm and the caller ID showed phone number ************.A number of weeks later, we had an issue with the Quickbooks software that Arman installed on our desktops. We called Quickbooks for technical support. During that phone call for technical support we were immediately told that the Quickbooks software that Arman installed was a scam and our license was not valid. One of the attachments shows the license number and email attached to the license The license number that Arman sold to us is already in use and the email attached to that license does not belong to our office nor anyone in it, which means the license that he sold us is stolen. When we started getting invoices and etc, we saw that HostBooks was showing up on everything. We have spoken with ***** several times over the last number of weeks and he supposedly got his supervisor involved to initiate a refund. We have gotten no satisfaction and they have only offered $1,000 worth of technical support for five years. HostBooks refuses to acknowledge the fact that they sold us a stolen license and they are claiming to be Quickbooks rather than HostBooks. ***** will not have his supervisor call me to discuss this matter. I absolutely feel like I have been scammed and I have tried to resolve this matter in a polite business sense, but have gotten nowhere. My office is asking for a refund in the amount of $7,183.00 as attached.
