    On 9/6/23 I purchased an ottoman from North Bay Furniture and paid $599.50 by credit card. It was supposed to be delivered in 4-6 weeks, but we did not receive it until 12/31/23. It was the wrong color and immediately returned to the store. The owner ("JB") stated he would get it re-manufactured in the correct color. The owner never responded to any texts, calls, or emails. Every time I wanted an update I had to physically visit the store. The owner dragged me along, delaying for months, stating he was still working with the manufacturer to get the correct fabric for the ottoman. When I visited the store for an update on 6/3/24, I learned that the retail location closed in May 2024 (eviction notice was on the door). I immediately began reaching out to the owner to request a full refund via text, email, voicemail, and ******** and Instagram messages. On 6/11/24, the owner texted I am unable to get the ottoman in the correct fabric. I will go ahead and issue a full refund. Finally on 6/25/24, the owner submitted a refund for $599.50 via Square, however the refund was reverted on 6/28/24 and never went through. On 7/3/24, I contacted Square, who reviewed the transactions and stated that North Bay Furniture cancelled the refund. I then made multiple attempts by phone/email/text/etc. to request a refund from the business. All my messages have been ignored. The business is not responding and I have no way to get the ottoman or a refund.North Bay Furniture promised to provide me an ottoman. I paid $599.50 for the ottoman, patiently waited for months and months, dealt with non-responsiveness from the business, and have now requested a refund multiple times. I did not receive the ottoman nor the refund. I am seeking a full cash refund from the business.I have evidence showing purchase receipt, texts, emails, ******** messages, and credit transactions showing refund was not received.
