    Just talked to a so called *** from Clear Caption, I was disconnected but before that I heard laughter in the back ground and a lot of talking. She called back and I told her to cancel the order, she claimed she didn't know how. I asked to talk to her supervisor and she said he was busy. I told her I would call BBB and hung up!

    They are a scam. My grandmother had this phone. It quit working. We made sure all settings were where they were supposed to be. The phone quit ringing when someone called in, it quit saving voicemails, a whole bunch of things quit working, and even the screen would get brighter then darken up constantly. We were constantly checking the settings, and they were where they were supposed to be at. So we called and told them what was going on with the phone. At first they said they would send someone out to check the phone. After we told them all we had did even down to changing out the two cords, we were told we had a defective phone so they would send a new one. To expect it in 8-12 weeks. Well 22 weeks later were still waiting. When we call to check the status of it, we are told over and over it takes 8-12 weeks to arrive. IT HAS BEEN OVER 8-12 WEEKS (almost double that time now!). Yet were told over to give it time that it is coming, this is very frustrating for my grandmother who is having to rely on a cordless phone now and cant hardly hear at all. I would not recommend this item to anyone knowing that customer service that we have experienced with them! Dont let your loved ones use this,

    Must be a Scam that steals information. Never received the phone for my father. Always an issue and redirected.

    Today's email explains a possible fraud ************ never was reliable, I had to spend hours on the phone and emails to get the service removed for my relative and that was last June 2023.The email suggests this company is still collecting a fee. /"Dear *******,Our records show your ClearCaptions Phone hasn't checked in for 90 days or more. Since it appears you no longer wish to use your caption service, ClearCaptions has disconnected the phone number associated with your ClearCaptions Phone: ***.If you are experiencing technical difficulties or wish to speak with our Customer Support Team, please contact us at x-xxxxxor email support and we will be happy to assist you.
