I retained attorney Limor around June of 2022. Two months went by and even after having paid 93% of the retainer fee within 32 days, there was no work done with my case. Not even after I provided a written statement with a timeline of everything that has last happened with my case. I did not receive a drafted Declaration until 9/21 almost 4 months later. This was also due to the attorney's abrupt and sudden vacation shortly after receiving 93% of the retainer, approximately $6,000 out of $6,500. I had no choice but to wait. Every call and follow-up was initiated by me. On 10/06 I providedLimor with my declaration with my edits. On 10/07/2022 during one of our calls, I asked Limor to stop all work so that she can reevaluate my available retainer funds. This was a 16-minute call where we were discussing billing/costs and I was charged $127.50. Clients should not be charged for discussing billing. I was finally provided an invoice on 10/10/22 per my follow-**** On 10/11/2022 I received a "revised" declaration via email from Limor. Despite my request for work to stop as we discussed during the 10/07 call. Per attorney *****'s itemized invoice, she worked on the declaration on 10/10/22 against my requests. ***** still decided to bill me $637 for "editing" my drafted declaration. Which clearly shows, if seen side by side with myedits, there were little to no changes or edits made. On 10/12/22 Limor terminates her services to me shortly after I requesta quote from her onhow much more money I would need in order to continue. I want to be reimbursed for these two amounts totaling $764.50 by ************** I've attached the Invoice provided by the attorney, the Client Agreement, a screenshot of the length of the call on 10/07/22, and emails, currently researching how to obtain the recording of the call on 10/07 to prove my clear request to the attorney.
