      Had a sink overflow on 3/24/2024 and cause damage to my laminate floor and walls and baseboards. Called Servpro and ***** quoted me a $2,000 2 day emergency remediation fee. A crew showed up 2 hours later and began the remediation process. There were 5-6 people who were in my home for about 2 hours. ***** asked for payment and I requested to be invoiced and billed later. He called ***** and she said I had to pay now. Wrote them a $2,000 check and gave to *****. The next day, ***** quoted me a price of $12,600 to finish the remediation after I confirmed to her that I did not have insurance that covered water damage. I told her that seemed high and asked for a statement of work and a manager to call and discuss. Heard nothing further. I called Servicemaster and they quoted me $4,000 to complete the remediation. On 4/3/2024 I received two e-mails from Servpro invoicing me for $2,147! The $2,000 check had already cleared! Obviously a company that attempts to take advantage of a stressful situation and then double bills! I would advise against doing business with Servpro of Citrus Heights.
