I use my homes wood fireplace insert for winter heating as often as the air in ***************** allows, and have been using A-1 Chimney for 12 years to handle annual cleaning/ inspection and repair services. The office personnel are helpful in accommodating my calendar when I call to arrange appointments. I appreciate that the technicians give a call on the day of the visit before arriving. The cleaning is thorough and the inspection notes are detailed with explanatory photos. Before **** started the job last week, he asked if I had any questions and again gave opportunity for questions before he departed. Every interaction with the office and the field workers has been polite and cheerful.

I recently had my sliding screen door replaced, and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience. From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything was handled with professionalism and attention to detail. The technician arrived on time, was courteous, and clearly knowledgeable about the work. They removed the old screen door, measured and installed the new one seamlessly, and even took the time to ensure it slid smoothly and latched securely.What really stood out was the quality of the materials used and the clean, efficient installation. Its rare these days to find a service provider who respects both your time and your home, but thats exactly what I got. The area was left spotless, and the new door looks and functions perfectly.Highly recommend this service to anyone needing a reliable and skilled team for door or screen work. 5 starsExcellent service, they arrived at the scheduled time, they were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and performed that service requested- which was clothes dryer vent cleaning. Their prices were reasonable. They did not try to sell me anything that I didnt ask for. I bought a better vent hose and clips to secure it- again, reasonably priced. Excellent and straightforward service. Very professional, I had a chimney cap replacement and the price for the service I was quoted was exactly what I was provided, with no extra upsells and trying to tell me I needed a bunch of unnecessary work. I had other chimney providers come out provide inspections and was very disappointed and annoyed with the quality of services (trying to tell me I needed a bunch of work I know I dont need with inconsistent price quotes)- so needless to say I was very relieved to have found A-1 and would definitely recommend them to others.A-1 Professional Home Services by A-1 Chimney, Inc.

I would give this company -0 star. This company is money hungry and don't care for repeat business. I called for an appointment for a level 2 service which I was told includes cleaning and inspection for $149.00. The technician arrived and went on the roof to take 3 photos and came inside the house and look at the fireplace. It was a wood burning with a gas starter and he didn't even bother to turn it on to inspect that it was working properly. Mind you we just purchased this home and haven't used the fireplace so I like to get it cleaned and inspected. The tech spent 5 minutes on the roof and 2 minutes looking at the fireplace and bam they want you to pay $149 without cleaning. This is so shady and the tech wants to charge $299 for the cleaning and $2600 to replace chase cover. Because I said no $2600 for the chase cover, he then "talk to his boss" and came back with $1800.00. I called the office and spoke to a man and explained my concerned about the service, he was rude and argumentative instead of trying to hear my concern or honor my initial phone appointment. . I paid the invoice because I know the technician was following his work order it wasn't his fault. Do not use this shady company.A-1 Professional Home Services by A-1 Chimney, Inc.
