I currently owe $2541.64 to the school for a semester I did not get to finish due to recommendations by the student advising center. At the beginning of the fall ************************************************** September of 2024. For months I did not hear back and was being told that I had to pay the remaining balance that I could not afford. At the end of October that semester I came in to the advising center to get an update and some help with the problem at hand and was told by the advisor that my case had yet to be even looked at even though originally I was told it would be handled in a 2 week period. A week later I finally got a response and was told that I missing some stuff island would need more documents in order to complete my loss of income appeal. I did this. By the time i got an actual response from my initial appeal, the semester was almost over and I was advised BY THE SCHOOL, that it was too late to do an appeal for this semester and I would have to pay out of pocket for anything that I took that semester so i dropped the classes. I finally had to get in contact with the head of financial aid **** **** and she was able to get my financial aid fixed and get me my full aid but at that point she said it was too late to fix any charges for last semester and would have to carry into the spring semester that at that point it was already too late to register for by the time she got it all straightened out by late January. I am now sitting here without enrollment in this semester due to the school's lag and owing thousands, AND unable to register for next semester until I've paid off dues for classes I ended up not even getting credit for. Please help me with this situation, my school and education is very important to me and I would like to continue, but financially I am drowning and will not be able to pay those dues for classes I ended up having to drop since they did not perform their jobs correctly. Thank you for any help.
