The office of Dr. ******************** has had very poor communication and poor billing practices. I have been unable to pay bills over the phone because it has been almost impossible to get an employee on the phone, so I have left messages and not gotten calls back. I was never billed at the time of service, even though my copays have remained $30 per appointment. I went in on 2/27, 4/15, and 6/17. I tried to make an appointment between February and April and was unable to get anyone on the phone, hear back, or schedule another appointment. Maybe there was a lapse in organization that also led to a billing issue? I don't think I should get sent to collections because of that since I have been paying as promptly as possible. I got a bill today for 2 appointments, one from 2/27/24 and another from 4/15/24. I currently have three bills from his office, and only the one from today includes a reminder for the appointment on 2/27. I went in in person twice to pay bills and was assured both times that my balance was paid. I went in on July 11th and August 6th to pay bills. I was told on August 6th that my April appointment was paid for (which this **** says I owe money for), and I confirmed that my balance was paid off, they said it was. The bill I received in the mail today says I will be sent to collections if I don't pay these bills at once. I have found records on credit card statements that I have paid the office $60, but I may have missed a transaction.I have serious concerns about the office's billing and I don't believe I actually owe money for both of these appointments anymore. If that is false, I will certainly pay the bills, but I have called or gone in to pay every bill I have gotten, and I have lived at the same address for the entire time I have been to the office. If nothing else, I would like the office to take off the notice for collections and make it easier to call in and pay over the phone.
