    The contract for editing services was started on July 28, 2024.I paid the non refundable $100 deposit for the editing services. No edits were ever sent as promised in our agreement even after several attempts for updates and progress reports. The owner procrastinated, never sending the edits, until finally, she blocked me and has yet to respond. I've sent a termination agreement for her to sign via email. I've reached out across social media and no luck as of yet. I don't want the $100 back, I just want other aspiring authors to know this business is a scam before sending her their work.

    Contract was entered into on May 13th, 2024 for contracted, editorial services from June 3rd - June 24th. I paid $400.00 (USD) to the PROVIDER in three installments (****** retainer on May 13th, ****** on June 3rd, and ****** on June 14th). The business committed to provide the service was B.Edits, and its owner, *************************. The nature of the dispute is that services have not been provided and the provider is 5 weeks over the contracted end date. Lenient, unofficial extensions were given by CLIENT, however none were met. A final demand was made on July 26th, and that deadline also was not met. I have tried to resolve this, by asking for the work to be completed by three specific deadlines - which were not adhered to. I was misled, and made to believe the work was closed to being complete on multiple, separate occasions. I've even asked for the work, no matter what state it was in, to be returned to me and I would finish with another provider. The PROVIDER offered a partial refund, which CLIENT declined, believing it to be disingenuous, and asked for the contracted work to be completed.
