      If you are the kind of person that projects typically work out in your favor then you may want to go head and use this business. However if you are not that person then Cal ********************** will probably multiply your bad luck exponentially. I am having a wood burning insert installed in an existing brick fireplace. The job was originally going to be 2-3 weeks for an install date and take 3 hours or so to complete. They had trouble getting a collar adapter from their supplier so they came up with a "solution" and we are now 3 months later and on our 5th install date. To their credit they did handle the situation honorably and take some money off the price due to this turning into a fiasco once it was brought to the right persons attention. Work started Thursday and due to an initial miss measurement work stopped and they will be back out Monday. Until then I have cold winter air blowing freely down a halfway knocked out chimney. They guy who came out to do the measurements back in November did not measure the curve in the top of the fireplace where the smoke shelf is correctly resulting in a quoted $1200 of additional work. They aren't charging me the whole $1200 but enough to make back the initial discount to keep my business after asking for a refund after the 4th install date fell through. We can get into more details when they respond on here. Until then I would have thought that after ******* in this business they would be able to have the parts for a basic install and hire people who can measure. It seems like they are selling a product that they cant get parts for, don't know how to measure for and will kick the can down the road until you ask for a refund due to work not happening. Ill finish the review after work is complete and a fire is burning.
