      Purchased heating and air conditioning unit 11/2015 for *******************************************************************, a family vacation home.Thanksgiving 2023 the furnace went out. Our installer, *****************************, contacted the local representative and we have been waiting on a part for a month. The furnace is still under warranty. He cannot get a status on the part or anticipated ship date. We have had below freezing nights and have been using portable electric heaters to keep the house warm. This is causing added expense with no resolution in sight. Next week, the area is expecting extended below freezing weather. We do not live where the home is located and leaving a heaters running is not safe. We are requesting the furnace be immediately repaired or replaced with full warranty.

      On 1-28-2020 i purchased a 3.5 tone heating and ac unit, that included both inside and outside units with serial numbers ********** and 19462KEE3V, these items had a total cose of $6205.00. I have noticed that on the outside condensor unit that the fan motor has rusted the total circumference of the fan motor and is working its way to the top of the motor. I did contact the installer which was *********** heating and air inn *********** *******, and they told me that they would wait to here from American Standard HVAC who manifactured the unit. My neighbour who also bought a 3.5 ton ******* unit a month after i purchased my unit, is having no issues with fan motor rusting. When i first e mailed AS about this they e mailed me back with the one responce that i had warrenty till 1-28-2030. I then got another e mail from them stating that they could not go over techinical issues with me and that it would have to be with the installer ***********, who i contacted and and i told AS that i did contact my installer and they need to here from American Standard HVAC. I am a older person at 65 years old and do have health issues and i beleive that expensive home equipment or appliances like this AC unit should not have the issues that this one is having. In talking to a person at the installers office, they expressed to me that the fan motors are supposed to be coated to protect them from this issue and was wondering what may have happend to this one. To this date from my contacting AS heating and air i have received no responce. I did file a preveous complant with the BBB on this but the place of business in ******* Forte Alabama was the WRONG Business. That American Standard business was a coating company and i am truly Sorry that i got the adress wrong. But my concern is with the American Standard HVAC company that has made my unit. Thank you for what ever help you can provide me, i would be ever grateful as a senior just trying to survive. Also i beleive that these products are very expensive and should give good service to us for at least 15 years. Thank you.

      This is a mistaken business identity. We do not manufacture or sell HVAC units.  We are a small HVAC repair service in **********, **.  This consumer is in *******.  My business was started in 2021.  This consumer purchased his equipment in 2020.
