    Great service. They repaired my AC instead of pushing me into a new system. Another company insisted I needed a new one. This all occurred in 2021, three years ago.*************************

    I'm disappointed. Had a full HVAC installation in late March, 2020. Barely 4 years into it, and a run capacitor on the condenser fails. According to the manufacturer, these capacitors have a life expectancy of 5-20 years. This one didn't even make the 5 years. Whole system has a 10-year warranty, so this capacitor is covered, right? It only costs $13, so we're talking minor repair.The bill? $214! That's $99 for the service call. Okay, I have absolutely no problem paying that for time and effort. But that's also $115 for the $13 part... What? That's an 885% markup. I have no problem with a vendor taking a markup on a product they're buying wholesale and selling retail. The avarice behind this particular markup is inexcusable. There's a reason this company has a C- BBB rating. Wish I'd known before I used them.

    OVERALL (For Windows): 2/5 Window quality: 5/5 Installation: 0/5 Point: Windows are effective, installation was rough, results arent pretty. In hindsight, I should have gone with Cal Energy.CASUALTIES OF INSTALLATION: In the installation process, they knocked a glass hummingbird feeder down (it shattered and they didnt replace), tracked black caulk through the house on white porcelain tile (which my husband had to manually clean with rubbing alcohol), left fingerprints on 5 of 22 windows, left divot in dry wall, and installed too short trim on the patio door, which they tried to fix by cutting additional trim to shim it.In terms of aesthetics, the trim they installed to cover the now comically massive window frames is also massive. So much so, it now looks amateurish when you look at the front of the house. Also, I went dual color (bronze on outside, white inside), and the cheap white latches on the windows clearly show through.PROS: The windows are good quality, they are sealed properly, the project was done on time and ************************************* had quoted us for replacement not new construction. I emphasize this because we lost 297 sq ft of glass space because they installed into the old frames, which extended 1 into the window space all around. This is partly a miscommunication error as the vendor had asked which one I wanted, and in my ignorance I said I wanted to fully replace the windows. I had asked what new construction was, and he had said it is way more expensive, we have to fully remove everything down to studs and made it sound very prohibitive. Lastly, they failed the home inspection the first time due to lack of tempered glass & providing documentation, which as this is their bread and butter, should have known better.

    Great company. They always show up on time. We appreciate the service we get and they always respect our home and keep in clean. We have a maintenance plan and it has worked out great. It always reminds us to change the filters and at least we are doing what we can to make the system we have last. I like that they have a call center and not some automated system. Talking to a person is what we prefer.

    This review is for window installation only.I choose ***************************** for my window installation due to two factors. First, they had the best price of the three window companies I interviewed, and I liked the representative. Second, I had done business with ***************************** in my previous house. Knowing there were supply-chain and manufacturing issues I ordered my windows in March 2022. As of the writing of this 11/15/2022 the 2-day install of my windows is yet to be complete and the damage to my house so far has not been resolved. I have gone through three reorders of the windows, and I keep being told there are issues with the manufacturer. I have had every excuse from wrong size, missing parts, missing windows and wrong configuration. ***************************** is NOT the company it used to be. I am not sure what happened, but they have really walked away from any sense of customer satisfaction.

    Update for 11/15/2022 review: ***************************** did finish the job they were hired to do. I asked for a discount as I was not offered one at any time and I felt it was an appropriate request. I was given $150.00 off my invoice. I agreed to this small amount as I do not have any more time to spend on this issue. I will not be a customer of ***************************** in any capacity going forward.
