    On or about 10/18/22, I brought my wedding ring into ******************** Jewelers to be have the prongs inspected. Mr. ******************** told me the ring needed the prongs repaired/replaced and that it would need to be thoroughly cleaned before he could give me an estimate which would take a few days. I did not hear from him and on 10/24/22, I called to follow up. I was told the cost of repairs would be $75 and I verbally agreed to the repairs. I did not hear anything for a few weeks and I contacted the store multiple times. Ultimately, Mr. ******************** told me that my ring would be ready for pick up on 11/18/22. He later called me and left a voicemail message saying it was not ready. I did not hear from him again and on 12/2/22, I contacted him regarding my ring. On 12/2/22, he finally confessed that my ring was lost. He told me that they were searching for the ring and he would call me in the afternoon with an update. He did not call. My ring is the only piece of jewelry I own. If I were to attempt to replace this ring it would cost well over $50,000. The sentimental value of this ring goes beyond just a wedding ring. My husband and I purchased it after ten years of marriage and our collective hard work. I intended to pass this ring to my children because they are well aware of what it represents. I am devastated and concerned that this business is so cavalier and disinterested in addressing this issue. Mr. ******************** has obviously known the ring was missing for sometime and is ignoring me.If this is issue is not resolved immediately, I intend to file a lawsuit seeking not only the monetary value of my ring but also emotional distress damages as a result of this business' negligence.
