      Working with California Moving Systems and Atlas has been a huge mistake and disaster. From boxes missing to our items being delivered in 2 separate trucks, I cant imagine how this move couldve been any more mismanaged.We moved back in March of 2022. We boxed everything ourselves. Our items were loaded into large wood containers to be stored at their warehouse until August then brought to our home out of state. In August, our items were unloaded out of these wood crates and onto a semi truck to be brought to us. ***** handled the move out of state. Our items were split into 2 loads. They loaded a trailer half filled with another clients items and then whatever room they had left, our furniture. The semi truck showed up to our house in August but with only half of our items. Some boxes were crushed and some items like power tools/art supplies were loose in the trailer. We then had to wait over a MONTH for the rest of our belongings. Our remaining items were loaded with another clients belongings. We were missing over 9 boxes of items plus a large outdoor water fountain.A year later and we are still missing over 9 boxes and the water fountain was delivered to a home in ***** and were still waiting for a delivery date. Atlas and CMS are worthless with no follow through and FINDING where our items went. Boxes dont just disappear. They were either stolen by the movers OR delivered to the wrong house on their way to us. There has not been any initiative to investigate where our items went. Weve filled claims for the missing items but their offer for settlement is insulting. CMS should have kept our items in the wood crates and transported TOGETHER on ONE truck. Why did they think half a semi trailer would be sufficient? We had several large furniture pieces damaged. I would NEVER recommend CMS or Atlas to anyone. Many of our our items are irreplaceable like mens suits, ****** train sets, and yard items. Sent from my iPhone
