I ordered some legal mushroom psychedelic chocolate bars from this company on Thursday, 22 Aug 24. They said they had a minimum order of $250.00, and stated that I would have to use the Apple Cash App for the purchase since their **** credit card account was not set up. They called my cell phone from the number ************ for the payment and asked for a scan of the apple cash payment via email. They stated all was good and they would sent out my purchase. The next morning I received a call from "the owner" of this company claiming I had to send him another payment to make the whole purchase $500.00 for their shipping company to send it. I refused after I read about the numerous scams this company was involved in with countless other unsuspecting customers like myself. That afternoon I spoke with their representative named ****** who said she had no control over any shipping prices because that was another department. She suggested I email them (which I did) with the order # of 1525 and they would send out a refund. This morning once again "the owner" once again texted me saying your order can't be cancelled because already in the system you just need to step our your (end of message)I believe this company is a total scam and they don't have any products to sell. Please see the attachments I sent showing other customers complaints over the last two years. Please help me recover the $280.00 I paid them in good faith, thank you. **************************. The Stockton address might be a fake one or a mail drop, btw.

    Business Response

    Dear *******,

We sincerely apologize for any confusion and inconvenience you may have experienced. We want to clarify that Zen Garden Wellness is a fully licensed Cannabis retail facility, committed to providing safe, lab-tested cannabis products exclusively to shoppers who are 21 years of age and older. We do not sell or endorse the sale of psychedelics.

It appears there may have been a misunderstanding, as we have no record of interaction that matches the details youve described.

We are truly sorry to learn about what happened to you and wish you all the best as you resolve this situation.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, this is not the business I filed the complaint against!  The complaint was filed against legalpsychedelicmushrooms.org. I am not sure why this other company Zen Wellness was contacted, unless the wrong address was given by me for the above referenced business.  If that is the case, I apologize for the confusion of the address that wad given for legalpsychedelicmushrooms.org.  I was sure they were in Stockton, but again, the Zen Wellness company was not the business I was filing the complaint against.  Is it possible to do a further investigation using the phone numbers, website and email address I supplied earlier?  Thank you!  **************************
