I was issued a parking ticket even though I had a valid parking permit at this private parking garage. When I called to dispute the number through multiple attempts, they would not let me contest or speak my case that I had paid for the parking at their garage. I have also tried online to contest their report, but when I go to the site where directed, it only allows me to pay for the ticket and not challenge the ticket without the evidence.

The reason that this customer received the ********************** invoice notice is because his payment receipt wasn't displayed on his dashboard, the payment receipt has instructions that the payment receipt has to be on the dashboard in plain view, customers must also mail the proof of payment to the payment center for the parking invoice to be voided, the parking invoice has the return address. See the photos. Thank you.

Over the coarse of the past 48 hours, while trying to exercise my right to contest a ticket I received by Priority Parking, I was not only hung up on 4 different times, but I was spoken to in a very unprofessional, rude and demeaning manner. I asked to be transferred to a manager at which point ****, the employee, agreed but then continued to hang up on me. When I was finally able to speak to management, I explained my argument for to contest my ticket only to be interrupted several times. I kept a very open mind and expressed my understanding of their rules/regulations several times - this continued to be met with an extremely rude and unprofessional tone. Ultimately, I was threatened at the end of this phone call by management. I was told that "you did not pay this ticket so you will get another one and you will be towed anywhere you are at. at any parking spot or garage". At this point, I explained that I had the right to contest this ticket and I did only receive it 8 days ago - I never once said I was not going to pay it. He continued to repeat himself and then added that I would be fined "$500 or $600 or $700 dollars" next time. I continued to express my confusion - 'what do you mean "next time"?; 'what do you mean that I "did not pay this ticket"; etc. - and finally expressed to him that he was "acting very unprofessional and threatening me which is completely unacceptable". The manager interrupted me again and said that he "actually has to go somewhere now...". This company is not acting with good morals and standards for a large company serving the city of **********. This company is taking advantage of the community they serve by basically being a "monopoly" for this service. This behavior should be considered detrimental to the welfare of the people and this company should absolutely be looked into.

This lady parked over the line in space #**, causing no one to park in the space, that day we lost income for that space, which is why she was receiving a parking invoice for occupying part of space #**, when the customers parked like that no one wants to parked right next to them.  Regarding hanging up, we have a new phone system that didn't have music, when we put someone on hold it's just a silent sound, that's why she may think we hung up on her, every time she called she had an attitude and didn't want to listen to any of us our representatives, as one of the managers told her, that if she didn't want to pay the parking invoice that was fine, but that her car could be towed for next time. See the attached photo.

This parking lot is shady in its ticketing practices. Not only do they ticket you when you have paid, but they make excuses AND you have to MAIL.. yes mail.. your dispute in. When calling or emailing, you only get **** who does not read or address your concerns. If you call, you only get **** who does not listen to or address your concerns. You get upset and speak to a supervisor who could care less. They both stated their attendant couldn't see/read the receipt in my windshield. It was less than a foot from where you put the ticket envelope. I already emailed pictures to **** "Well I didn't see those and you still have to mail in your dispute." The same thing happened to my friend and when she spoke with the payment coompany (different from Priority Parking) they said this happens ALL THE ***** Its like they hope you don't dispute so they can make money off of you. They kindly ONLY charge $40 rather than $60 though if you pay within 30 days (which you can do ONLINE). These people are frauds.

This customer emailed ****** a third- party company to dispute her parking invoice and called us as well, We provided her with information on how you could submit the information to have the parking invoice voided from the system, since your payment receipt was not fully visible on your dashboard, we have the same policies for all the daily customers who have not displayed the daily pass or if they forgot to displayed the payment receipts, We do not intend to charge to our customers double. We care about our customers but they need to send the proof of payment by mail with the parking invoice so the parking invoice be voided from the system. After we tried to explained she started raising her voice over the phone and starting having attitude. She refused to follow our policies. We are welcome to take care her parking invoice, she just have to mail it to ****************************************

I am rejecting this response because: I have provided evidence that they are inaccurate in stating that they could not read the receipt in my windshield. With further research, it seems this is a regular practice for them. They inaccurately ticketed my vehicle and then make it inconvenient to dispute their error. They need to acknowledge that they need to better train their attendants or make it easier to dispute their errors as to not cause their customers undo time, frustration, and money for a service (parking) that was clearly paid for and was not received without harassment.

The supervisor who submitted this parking invoice has been working with us for 16 years, the images you submitted from your dashboard cannot clearly see the information on the receipt. The shadow of the label on your windshield is reflected on the payment receipt, making it impossible for the supervisor not to see the information clearly. On this occasion we are going to void the parking invoice, we recommend you to follow our company polices to avoid any issues in the parking lot. Thank you.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 06/17/2024

I am rejecting this response because: I have provided proof that the receipt can clearly be seen with the date in question. The photos you refer to are from a far away angle. You need to consider the option of providing an easier way to resolve these issues because if someone who has worked 16 years doing this can be this lazy, it is a poor reflection on your company and those affected by it should be easily able to send an email with proof and not have to go this route to deal with this.

Date 4/23/24 Invoice ******** Received a invoice/ticket for "no payment no comment" even though I have paid the parking fee of $14.00 for the day at 7:16am on 4/23/24. I received a "parking invoice notice" to pay an additional $45.00 for that same day and it is time stamped for 9:46am. I Tried to explain the problem to **** who says she is the owner/manager, however she simply talked over me and then hanged the phone up when she was done. I'd like to get this matter cleared within the next few days or I will have to get an attorney involved.

I paid for parking via the Parking Mobile app and still received a ticket. After I tried to contact the company about their mistake, they provided me with no solution and was completely rude. I have proof of payment.

      Good morning,

The zone number is not Priority Parking, perhaps the customer paid through the ****************** for Street parking, we do not offer that rate at any of our parking locations, the supervisor invoiced the customer for the service fee when he saw that the vehicle had not paid for the service. Our Zone number for ************* is 9207.

      Thank you.

      Regards,

      Priority Parking.

On August 26, 2023 my vehicle was parked at Priority Parking at 18th and L St. in **********. There was a pay station malfunction and my parking was unpaid. I left my car for approximately an hour and a half in the lot and upon returning ******************* was pulling my car onto a tow truck. Thereafter, ******************* demanded a payment of $360 on the spot in order to take my automobile off the tow truck, or it would be impounded and the fees would double, as opposed to simply issuing a citation. I contacted the ******************, and they informed me that this is illegal activity, and to report the incident.

      Business Response

      Good day,

The reason this customers vehicle was going to be towed is because it was already parked for three days without payment in another parking lot that we have, located at ***************** never contacted us to make some arrangements to pay us for the days she used the lot. In all Priority Parking lots we require payment in advance, we have clear signage advertising that, we didnt have any issues with the payment machine on the day in question and we also have three different ways to pay for parking, the pay station, QR code sign and *********** app. If you don't pay in advance we create a parking invoice for the service fee, since she had three outstanding invoices with a final warning we decided to tow her car away.  I will provide you all the parking invoices we created to her with the final warning and the report from the pay station.

      Thank you.

      Regards,
      Irma

I parked in the parking lot on Rst, there a sign clearly stating the price. I was charged double what is posted on the sign, I would like my money back. They are stating it was likely due to an event, however the sign says its event pricing, and I have a photo of the empty parking lot, there was no event going on. I only parked for less than an hour and was charged $20

      Good morning,

We need more information on this complaint, we have multiple locations on ********, you also need to tell us the date you paid for the parking spot and how you paid.We have third- party companies that also process payments for **, those third-party companies charge a little more then the pay station we have in the parking lot, because they can't change prices from one day to the next, especially when we are notified at the last minute that there are  special events or night club concerts in the area, so the third- party companies keep the rates a little bit higher than the pay station.

Hello, I parked my car in your parking facility at ********* Streets in downtown ********** behind Koju Kitchen. Being a ******** Senate employee I was there for a work event outside of normal business hours and was in a rush to get to my event, but was willing to get a proof parking for reimbursement once I exited the facility. I did not see any notifications that where I parked would result in my automobile being towed and expected the highest adverse reaction to be a citation at most. When I returned from my event my car was gone and I learned from local law enforcement that it was towed and stored at a local towing yard. It was over $800 to get my car from the tow yard, much more that the parking rate posted for that facility. I find this cost more than excessive for the amount of time my car was housed at the parking facility and find it even more troublesome that no citations were issued or available contact information for your company to challenge these actions and/or request for some type of reimbursement. Please advise on any actions I can take to challenge these charges for being towed and stored off site or any possibility of reimbursement. Thank you and have a good day.

      Good morning,

****** has been parking in our parking lot numerous times without a payments since last year. We require a payment in advice when anyone is using our service, we have a clear signage advertising that we have a pay station in the parking lot and to pay in advance. Each time when they park in our parking lot without a payment we invoiced them for the service fee and they been ignoring all the invoices. We placed  a final warning in the vehicle before we towed the vehicle away, and they even ignired the final notice too. The vehicle that we towed away yesterday has 6 outstanding parking invoices. Once again today the vehicle is in in the parking lot without payment so they recevied other invoice today. See the attached.

      Thank you.

      Regards,

      Irma
