I have been trying to remove my information from this site nothing is working. In had tried online over the phone. Nothing works!! All day and night I'm getting unwanted calls as well as emails. I also had unwanted people coming to my home. (They had got my information from this site) This is really scary and unsettling for me and my family. USPhoneBook.com contact center seems scammy. When you press option 1 or 0, it will take you back to the main menu. When you Opt out on the website, there is supposed to be an email from the company that either allows you to complete the opt-out process or confirms the process is complete. I have not yet gotten the email. It should never be this hard to opt-out or protect your information. It is careless for the future to rest in information and technology with no way to protect people from the dangers of vulnerability. It is never okay to allow casualties in the name of prosperity. Legal action will be my next step.USPhoneBook.com

These instructions will work for ALL browser popups.
How to ************************ on Desktop
Chrome Browser
See how you can enable or disable web push notification in Chrome
Step 1-
Open Chrome browser and follow the given path or simply type-
chrome://settings/content in a new tab.
Step 2-
A pop-up window with content setting will be displayed.
Scroll down to Notifications
Go to Manage Exceptions
Step 3-
In this section a list of website URL, you have subscribed for will appear. Select the website URL you want to unsubscribe. Here you can allow, deny or completely delete a website URL.
Firefox Browser
Check how you can enable or disable web push notification in Firefox
Step 1-
Open Mozilla Firefox browser, then go to Firefox menu and select options.
Step 2-
Select the content segment and tap on the choose button under Notifications.
Step 3-
A Notification Permissions window will pop-up. In this section, select the site URLs you wish to unsubscribe. Then click on Remove Site.
To stop all sites from sending push messages, click Remove All Sites.
Websites will need to ask your permission to send messages in the future.
Safari Browser

Step 1-
Open your Safari browser and click on Safari. Under Safari panel click on Preferences.
Step 2-
Select the website you wish to remove from the notification section. Click on Allow or Deny as per your preference.

Disable Notifications on Android Devices
Step 1-
Open Chrome browser and Click on Menu, under this section tap Settings.
Step 2-
Scroll Down under Advanced and click on Site Settings
Step 3-
In Site Settings, again continue to scroll down and choose Notifications.
Step 4-
Select the site you want to allow or deny web push services.
Step 5-
On the next screen, tap on clear & reset. A pop-up will appear asking for your permission to allow or Block notifications from the selected website. Choose the option as per your preference.
Disable Notifications on iPhone
Step 1-
Click on the Settings Application.
Step2-
Click "Notifications".
Step 3-
Click on the PeopleFinders website name listed.
Step 4-
Turn off the notification.
If you follow these instructions and still have issues, you will need to reach out to your browser/device help desk resources.

The phone number does not work, Webwide does not allow to out opt out. the link they sent to you e-mail is already had been used. I am victim of Fraud, and my phone number had been already registered with ****************************** and opt out, however, my phone number is they still posted on their website. This information is collected on a County, City, State and federal level and can also come from reporting information during normal every day activities such as grocery store club cards, magazine subscriptions, voter registration, warranty cards, even fishing licenses, and forms you fill out when browsing the internet. There are thousands of ways this information gets reported.
If you would like your records removed, please submit your request by using our online removal tool, linked below. We will also endeavor to block future public records that belong to the same person, but identifying these future records is not 100% accurate and cannot be guaranteed.

I have been trying to opt-out and each time I follow the instructions by accepting the terms, entering my email address, and clicking the captcha, when I click the "Begin Removal Process", a red circle with a line through it pops-up and will not allow me to select that option. I sent a message to the contact email you provided with a synopsis of the issue, I did that about 5 times, and each time it sent me an email with the same instructions, accept the terms, enter my email address, click the captcha, and AGAIN, when I click "Begin Removal Process", the red circle with the line through it continues to appear each time I try to click it. I called the contact number and every time I clicked the prompt to opt-out, it said, "THAT SELECTION IS INVALID" though YOUR system told me to select prompt #1. I did not give the US Phone book permission to list my information and want it removed immediately! REMOVE MY INFORMATION AND I DO NOT GIVE US PHONEBOOK PERMISSION TO SHARE OR SELL MY INFORMATIONUSPhoneBook.com

Same problem as many of these complaints. Every time I go through the process I get the email to confirm and all it does is give me an error and to try again later. Every time. This is c*** Not sure when you got my personal info but in the last 2 yrs spam to my phone and email have increased exponentially and at all hours!! I've even sent in a request via your contact form online and have gotten no response. Called the number you've got listed and it's some automated c*** in ******* that DOES NOTHING to help or remove info. I want this information gone. You've not asked me permission nor have I given it at any point intentionally or unintentionally. Companies like you are trash!
