    Bought a new all-electric range from Built-In Distributors Appliance,**************. XXXXX in11/2022. It required delivery and installation and one of three appliance installer names provided was ***** ****** of Custom Appliance ************* ******* ** XXXXX.
    ***** delivered the appliance to me but failed to install the range correctly. While he was at my home and turned on the burners, they failed to heat and the ovens failed to heat. Also, the oven fan smoked.
    I immediately called ****** who provided ***** ********* name while ***** was still present. ****** Immediately contacted the ****** range distributor in *** to notify them that the new range wasn't operable. They arranged for a service rep to come and he diagnosed the problem as a faulty installation involving incorrect wiring of the power cord that destroyed the oven fan. ****** replaced the fan, correctly wired the power cord and the range works perfectly.
    ****** spoke to ***** ****** re an installation refund to me of ***** They assured me he would contact me to arrange the refund.
    Mr. ****** never contacted me and has failed to refund the installation fee after I phoned him to request a refund.

    I misread the invoice and ****** is seeking not $40, but $540 to repair the damage done by the person mentioned in my complaint.
    The total reimbursement per the invoice for $540 is now $901!

    This written report from the ****** manufacturer mentioned in my complaint below arrived just today, so I was unable to include it in my submission. Below, please find the report that documents what damage was done, the repairs, as well as an additional $40 charge that I will pay. However, this charge is due to the damage caused by the person referenced in my complaint and the total reimbursement I am now seeking includes this charge for a total of $401.
