  Our HOA contracted *** to re-roof our community. For several years, my neighbor and I have been dealing with roof leaks. Despite our following HOA protocol, *** consistently failed to properly address the leak issues. After extensive communication, BRS reluctantly came out to repair the leak yet ignored water test requests. Their work was substandard and the leak persisted after subsequent rains. Requests for tarps were denied, rendering dehumidifiers ineffective, worsening water damage and mold growth.Due to BRSs negligence, medical tests confirmed I am positive for mold toxicity; my cats cough, sneeze, vomit, and are lethargic. I suffer from migraines, tinnitus, chronic insomnia, and other symptoms. I wear a mask. A containment tent has been in my garage since March 2024, limiting its use and causing overcrowding in my home with garage ********** neighbor has also experienced extensive water damage and mold growth. *** initially dismissed her concerns, attributing the leak to "sideways rain," which is impossible given the roof's overhang. When BRS finally repaired the leak, their work was sloppy, leaving caulk blobs, damaged stucco, and poorly patched roofing. BRS, again, refused requests for a water test.After discovering more water damage and leaking, I alerted the property manager, who confirmed 15 other homeowners faced leak issues caused by BRSs incompetence. Months later, BRS performed a water test in the correct area, revealing the leak. After further delays, they repaired it, unprofessionally leaving massive stucco scars and unsightly blobs. After repeated requests, BRS performed a water test with no leak. However, mold mitigation and restoration has not been addressed. Today, progress is stalled, my pets and I are still very sick and my property remains in disarray.I strongly advise everyone against hiring BRS Roofing due to ***'s owner **** Brasils unethical botched handling of this situation. I regret that our HOA ever contracted them.

  There was a construction defect between unit 39 and 40. There was a cricket in other words a water way that was built backwards from the original construction. When BRS found the problem BRS repaired it.

  Do NOT recommend. We live in a 300+ townhome community in the ************* Valley which contracted BRS between 2018-2019 for their roofing needs. We purchased our home in this community in July 2021, so we have lived here for less than three years. In this time, we have been dealing with a leaky roof in our garage over the past two *******. We have followed the established HOA protocol requesting repair, but BRS has failed to repair/correct their substandard and faulty work. They have cancelled on us twice within 6 months, and when they did show up, they refused to do at minimum, a hose test to see where the leak was located, and instead said, we know where the problem is because we just fixed a similar unit! Needless to say, their repair work was substandard and after the next rain, yes, our garage is leaking again. The work order cancellations were NEVER initiated by us, nor through our HOA; rather BRS has cancelled the work orders themselves without just cause and without notifying us. The last cancellation occurred on Monday, March 25, 2024 after waiting since September 2023 for them to repair the work they did from their earlier effort. When it rains, our roof leaks.To say we are frustrated and dissatisfied by their lack of customer service, accountability and integrity goes without saying. I will be contacting the ******** *************** to share our experience. By the way, we are not alone, within our courtyard alone, four homes have leaks. BRS does not meet any acceptable standards of a reputable roofing company.
