    In November of 2024 | hired this ****** who is the owner to build, primer, paint and install a motorized gate. I paid $6,600 for this service which was higher that initially quoted. The gate was build poorly missing welds compromising the stability and structure of the gate. The gate was damaged with dents and scratches in several locations. The paint was runny, No primer was used and not done professionally. The gate started to rust in sections where paint was not thoroughly applied. When questioned on all these flaws ****** threatened to leave with the gate and not refund me my money. His unprofessional workers poorly installed the gate, rale leaving it unsecure nor reinforced. They damaged my existing wall, pillar buy cutting into the stucco to make the gate door fit due to their measured mistake. The motorized gate opener was not properly anchored, electrical was never finished. ****** would leave the jobsite for days leaving it half completed despite my multiple calls and him agreeing to come and finish the job. I was left with loose exposed wires on uninstalled motor, a damaged existing wall and gate. He kept asking for more money for parts he needed to complete the installation which were supposed to be included in the initial agreement. After over 6 broken promises he returned but stated he only had 30 minutes to try to finish the installation. He sent me to ********* to buy supplies he failed to bring, and while I was at Homedepot he left my property never to return. I was forced to hire someone else to finish the installation and pay and additional $1,500 for materials to properly secure the gate/motor. Reading the reviews on BBB about this man and his company I surprised BBB has not moved forward filing criminal charges against him and his company.

    Date of Transaction: April 2, 2024 Amount Paid: $2700 The business committed to providing the demo of the existing wood staircase and fabrication and install of new maple stair treads, endcaps and skirt along with complete fabrication and install of wrought iron railing, balusters and posts.Contract was created and signed on April 2, 2024 and completion date was supposed to be April 22, 2024. The owner and sales rep was ***************************. Today is June 11, 2024 and the work has barely started.After my conversation today with ******, I have canceled the job, due to constant negligence and no completion of my job. It has been nearly 7 weeks over the timeframe that my job was to be completed. I have asked him for a full refund, but he said he will deduct 20%. He has wasted so much of time and I don't think that is fair, because he didn't deliver the scope of work. And he even asked for 50% down payment, when California State requires only 10%. I still have not received any refund from him. Also he sent me 2 pictures stating a business license and the other a seller's permit. But I came to find out later that he was not licensed and sent me a picture of his business registration. This man is very untrustworthy and I don't recommend anyone doing business with him

    Paid California Iron Designs Works ********************************* was very happy to take my money. The gate is falling off the hinges. CAlled him so many times keeps pushing the date out and yet to show up to fix it. Its been over 2 months. Still my gate is hanging there by a hairline. I just wanted to him to fix it or refund my money at this point. Regardless I will be taking him to court if he does not comply.

    The business owner didn't provide the gate that we purchased. He said he would issue a refund and has been ignoring our calls and txt messages. No service has been provided.

    I hire this iron worker to built me a front door entry for home as well as a balcony railing, the work was never fully completed and the work was terrible. I contacted the person several times to come complete project and he always keep on pushing back the dates. It's been months and he job is still incomplete.
