Business A. Martinez Flowers When: October 22, 2022 - Early AM Where: San **********, CA
I walked into the business on the morning of Oct 22. 2022 to purchase a bouquet of flowers for my grandma's birthday. I stopped at this location because it was on the way to Palm Springs (where my grandma lives) from the Los Angeles Airport.
If the business has cameras you will see me spend a decent amount of time in the fridge that preserves the flowers and finally I walk out with a pink and orange bouquet in a wooden box. This arrangement was marked around 50 and I was rang up for $52 (according to the merchant).
The business has an outdated pos system that never showed me the amount I was paying - Instead ****** stated the amount, typed it in her system, and advised me to pay. She never offered a receipt and seemed to speak little english so I didn’t mind. Please Note: I left thinking I paid $52 for one bouquet of flowers. No reason to question the situation at all.
Almost immediately I noticed I was overcharged $520.07, so I disputed it thinking ******, the lady who rang me up, accidentally hit the 7 when typing in the amount due. I thought nothing of it until today when I noticed I was rebilled for the full amount she had overcharged me. This business didn’t even provide a receipt. How can this be?
I have attached screenshots from my phone with the timestamp that show all the bouquets my grandma received that day - none worth 520.07. Please help and if you have more question or need anything from me contact me at ###-###-#### or ******.s.*******@gmail.com

I've reached out to the business multiple times and the lady refuse to provide me with my itemized receipt and now wont answer my calls anymore. Unfortunately I am going to have to fly to CA to resolve and would love additional support from BBB since the business is refusing to give me my receipt and resolve the overcharge in small claims. I would like to report this so it doesnt happen to anyone else in the future.
