      I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent rent increases for units C3212 and C3010. As a loyal tenant of Bay Area Self Storage for over a decade, I have consistently paid my rent on time and in full, often even in advance.I understand that property management involves various costs and that rent adjustments may be necessary. However, the recent increases, particularly for units C3212 and C3010, seem disproportionate, especially considering my current financial situation. I lost my job over a year ago and have been grateful for the grace ****** extended to me. Despite the challenging circumstances, I have continued to fulfill my rental obligations.The significant percentage increases of 8.05% and 8.47% are a substantial burden, especially when considering the previous increase of *****% on C3212 and *****% on C3010. This is a business practice of price gouging. I had previously reached out to request a reduction, which resulted in a slight decrease, but the overall increase remains significant. Furthermore, I was informed that unit C3009 would not be subject to a rent increase. However, this promise was later reneged upon, adding to my frustration.I kindly request a thorough reevaluation of these rent increases and propose a more reasonable adjustment of 3-5%, which aligns with historical practices and is more manageable for me. I believe this would be a fair and equitable solution that respects our long-standing tenant-landlord relationship.I value our relationship and hope we can work collaboratively to find a mutually beneficial resolution.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
