    I originally adopted a dog and my first experience was awesome. So when my other dog died I thought I would go back to the same rescue. Our second experience was not so stellar. The second dog kept terrorizing my first dog. After 3 days I had no choice but to give the dog back. The ****** parents were great to deal with. It was other person in charge felt the need to give me a lecture, despite the fact that I adopted my first dog from them. In addition I asked about the adoption fee.no response. I get it youre a nonprofit organization, but completely ghosting me is extremely unprofessional. I would have been happy with your we are keeping your money some kind of response. When Im about to adopt they hover over me to make sure they get my money. When the tables are turned and I attempted to get any of mine I get radio silence. There are a lot of pet adoption organizations that will treat their clients with respect. I realized Im blasting an entire organization over one persons awful behavior, but if youre dealing with people some empathy would not kill you. Anyway, Im done with this organization and going forward Ill take my business elsewhere.

    *** threatened to withhold care from a dog bc they didn't like my opinion, then euthanized him. I took a dog from an abusive situation, & after 3 months with no luck in adopting him out, I reached out to rescues bc I knew they'd screen people & get him expensive medical care, all of which they promised to do. *** scheduled an appt with a vet & my dog had a bad experience. Upon informing the head of the rescue of the traumatic experience, she said it was all my fault. She dismissed everything, couldn't pretend to care about the dog, & said "vets see a lot of dogs in a day." I wrote a review on the vet clinic's Yelp page without mentioning ***; when it comes to mistreating animals, I will inform others so they can make an educated decision. The day after I posted, *** called 2x in 30 min, left a voicemail, then texted saying they'd RETURN *** TO ME. They harassed me for the next month, including writing a phony review on my company's page in retaliation. *** repeatedly threatened to WITHHOLD CARE FROM ***. I then received a voicemail stating that *** will NOT GET FURTHER CARE until I took the review down. A few weeks later I found out *** was euthanized shortly after I received threats of *** withholding care, and they refused to tell me his diagnosis. The disturbing part is that during our call she begged me to take my review down & said "*** would never withhold medical care from a dog, it is SO wrong of you to say that," knowing that I had voicemail and written proof of that exact thing. I wouldn't recommend giving your dog to these people in hopes of finding a good home. I wouldn't recommend supporting a rescue who has such blatant disregard for how their animals are treated in the process of adopting them out. I am disgusted & deeply saddened by the behavior of the people in charge of ***, who I trusted to help a precious dog that I rescued & surrendered to them in hopes of giving him a better life but instead he's dead.
