I have doubled the amount since this company charged my credit card last year as well. So 2 years of unauthorized payments.We have several emails stating we want to CANCEL the paid for subscription, and yet they continue to charge my cc.The card they used for this payment expired in August of 2024 and should not have been charged. Evernote charged me $213 which I did not authorize for that amount or for a new subscription. They owe me $213. These people should be ashamed I want a refund immediately.Initial Complaint

I bought evernote personal on the 30th of December, I had set it to monthly but it charged me an annual fee of ****** liras on the dot of my free trial ending. I opened a ticket, asked for a refund and cancelled my subscription but they haven't refunded my fee, let alone respond. I have had an account with ******************** for a long time. I haven't used it in a while. While I have time, I'm reviewing accounts. I cannot get in to my free account. The first step is the 2-step authentication. They want the code from my authenticator. I search all 3 that I have. no Evernote account. I use a backup code. I get in, but immediately get taken to prompts to sign up for an account. I already have an account. I just want to see what my status is: What I get for free, costs for premium levels, etc. And I want to see what files I already have with them. Can't get in to anything without registering for a free trial with a credit card. Exasperated, I go to contact customer support. Can't contact customer support unless you sign in and you cant get anywhere unless you give them a credit card. So exasperated at this point, all I want to do is close my account. Get to that page, but to prove that I'm a human, I have to do some puzzle. I can't figure it out. They purposely make it hard to do anything. I don't want any money. I don't want any offers. I don't want anything except for them to close my account and delete all of my information from their servers.Initial Complaint

I was charged incorrectly for this account in December 2023. I cancelled the account. I just saw they have charged my Discover account again. It is pending. I have contacted my bank to dispute this charge. When I try to contact Evernote I keep getting an email to verify my account. They show no contact number only an email. 7/9/24; 8/9/24 --> these two charges have been refunded by my bank 9/9/24; 10/9/24; 11/9/24 --> these charges have not been refunded and are part of an ongoing struggle to stop paying for a subscription that I cancelled within the window of cancellation (I never should have been charged). I've contacted the company 4 times at least on 4 different tickets; their advice is largely from an AI bot or tickets have been closed before resolution (or closed automatically). Their advice to me is to cancel the subscription, but I cannot do that because it's already cancelled and I cannot access it except to reinstate it.Initial Complaint

My husband had an Evernote business account renewed in Aug, 2023. However, he passed away ******. On Aug 26, 2024 his business credit card was charged yearly cost of $169.99. The Evernote website says no refunds unless they are done before being charged. This was impossible for me, his widow, to do. I have submitted a Evernote Support Ticket. The Evernote Support sent me a standardized email with my ticket. I responded 3 times but I have received no reply. This app started out free till you invest years of notes, then one day you add a note without any warning that you will exceed an invisible limit line before you start paying, and you SUDDENLY find your account hijacked and held hostage. Then until you buy the subscription you are locked out of all your notes and all you can see is the continual Pop-up (see att pic). Totally wrong! Evernote should not let you add a note once you've exceeded the limit without paying. Then you can choose to not add more notes, delete old ones or buy the subscription, but not just back you into a corner until you pay. ?? Read all tge 1?reviews for this app to see how many people have been adversely impacted by this company's criminal practices. When I purchased my phone, the Evernote app was on it I am a free subscriber and use it and has used it only for off-line information I use the app to log adresses,appointments and passwords etc. since Friday, August 9, 2024 I have not been able to access my information at all. When I go to enter my information When I try to access it I get A full screen pop up stating that I have reached my limit and that I needed to upgrade to sync unlimited devices I I only have a Evernote on my iPhone thats the only device that I ever have had Evernote on but when I click on to unsync device It has me having two devices with ******************** on it. And that is incorrect At this time or even since I purchased my phone, I have not had Evernote on two of my devices And it will not give me the option to upgrade to the new app if I click on one, Im gonna lose all my notes from the evernote app and I dont wanna do that. then underneath it, it has a highlighted option to unsync a device And then further down on the page states a 40% discount on a yearly plan and then underneath that It states The price for their monthly Plan They have blocked me accessing my notes At this time I need an address from the app to send cards to my brother for his birthday and Im unable to do so because I cannot access information. They have Blocked me. Ive written several at least three emails to them with no response. I will upload the blocked information that keeps showing up on The Evernote app I have very important information on that I need to recover Ive called and spoke with someone at Apple. Ive called my phone company and I spoke with my local BBB office, Thats why Im reaching out to you I need your help in retrieveing my information Thank youInitial Complaint

Evernote is billing me. I can't access my account, and ********************** just closes the tickets I open, without doing anything. I need to access the info in my account. That is the ENTIRE purpose of the account!
