DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY OR PERSON: ************************************************* *********, **. I am a *******, ** producer that was working for a New York client in *********, **. "He talks a good game... but he is really a bad company" is what I was told after I have the misfortune to hire CPP for a teleprompter job. The person that showed up was not well trained, and the gear he showed up with was not what I had requested. The operator was ill prepared, didn't know his own equipment and screwed up the job that ultimately embarrassed my client's ***. The *** was furious at my client and then, rightly so, berated me for hiring this clown. It was so bad that I fired CPP right after the event, with another teleprompter job scheduled on the Fourth of July, and no plan "B", because if this company showed up again I would loose the client mid show. Which I almost did because this guy shows up at my event and tries to make a scene... right in the middle of a line-stream production. He obviously was not interested in discussing any issues in a business like manner, he just wanted to make as much noise and trouble for me as possible in front of my clients. My client did not pay me for this contractor. I in no way could, in good conscience, **** my client for that fiasco. I, as the producer, did pay CPP. Throughout the production I hired five other local crew guys and to a person, that all said, this guy and this company is "bad news" and they have a terrible local reputation. But I was from out of town and believed his big talk and didn't do my due diligence. He told me no one in ********* had the gear I was requesting and that he was giving me a good deal. This guy plays word games so be aware of what he promises to deliver. Ultimately I did find another local San ************* who had the gear I was looking for, worked on the fourth of July, did an amazing job and was 20% cheaper.
