11/7/2022: My daughters 2006 Cadillac CTS (odometer ******) had been on the car lot for several months already waiting for a refurbished *** that ******, the mechanic said it needed and was looking for. We decided to go ahead and purchase a new one from him to speed up the process. He replaced and programmed the *** which cost $1338.79. Engine light is still on.11/16/2022: The car had been misfiring at this point and then died. AAA towed it back to Luxe Electrical. (Odometer incorrectly reads ******* miles). After first the mechanic didnt think it could be the battery, but then replaced the battery for $355.50. He looked at the ************ and said we should bring it back in for a tune-up and oil change. I needed to leave my ****** there for a tune-up and misfiring issue in order to pass smog before Dec. deadline. So made plans to switch bring back Cadillac after mine was complete. On Dec. 5th, took Cadillac to AutoZone for diagnostic code reading. Odometer read 32 miles and Power Train System issue. Next day the car died for the final time. Towed it to mechanic and he said engine was blown and not repairable and could look for a used engine for approx $2800 or sell it for parts. I could leave car there until I decided. He then showed me one of his cars on the lot that I could buy for my daughter. I decided to tow my car to a trusted auto mechanic in ***********, to see what he could diagnose. He stated that Luxe Auto did not program the car correctly or programmed it wrong which resulted in over heating due to no compression on the engine. There are no lights that came on to tell the driver that engine is overheating. Called mechanic at Luxe Auto and the said its not true, just like he said the code reading from Auto Zone was not true. My daughters car is now ruined and will cost more than what was paid when we bought it 2 1/2 yrs ago. When I tried to call ****** the owner, the mechanic is the one who answers, so not sure what is going on there.
