    On 10/28/22 I arrived at the auto shop for a 3:30pm appointment for a smog check. I left the shop without my vehicle due to mechanics damaging it. This supposed 10 minute appointment resulted in a broken driver's side window and the door needing a part replacement as the car no longer would open to full swing. The door opened in full at the time of arrival, I exited the vehicle without difficulty and observed the owner also open the door to record the mileage without issue. The vehicle also has no history of difficulty with opening, witnesses to this rode in the vehicle 10/27 and observed no problems. I paid the $60 for the passed smog check before leaving on 10/28, invoice #*****.The shop refuses to pay for the damages caused by their gross negligence only offering to not charge for labor, repair order #*****. This has left the integrity of the shop in question and repairs will be sought elsewhere.

    WE REPLACED THE WINDOW AND THE HUSBAND PICKED IT UP THE NEXT DAY.

    THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN, TECHNICIAN PULLED ON IT AND THE DRIVER GLASS SHATTERED.  THE ***** THAT HOLDS THE DOOR OPEN WHEN IT IS OPEN WAS DETERIORATED AND HELD THE DOOR FROM OPENING COMPLETELY, WE REPLACED THAT PART AND THE WINDOW AND CHARGED HIM NOTHING.  I DID WANT TO CHARGE HIM BECAUSE IT WAS HIS CARS WORN OUT DOOR ***** THAT CAUSED THE SHATTERED WINDOW.
