      ****** Rumfey in the Mississippi office for LDL dba Cadence Financial Services is pure disappointment. Last week I received paperwork to buy stock, same day returned on Thursday via *****. Called Friday and was told ****** would call me Monday. Still waiting. He has not called me back at all and it is now Thursday April 10th. The stock market just rebounded and I would need to pay more now per share. Where has he been all these days? No courtesy call. No email. No update. VERY poor form and will not do business with them. No wonder the reviews for LDL are so poor. Already took my business elsewhere.

      I've been trying to get my 1099-R for a month now to file my taxes. Despite calling multiple times, they keep saying they've mailed it, but I still haven't received it. I don't know where they're sending it, and no customer service *** has been helpful. When I asked if they could email it, they said they can't. The service has been terrible.

      My deceased mother had an account with them. I was beneficiary, they took out of my mother's account and set up an account in my name. I immediately called to close the account and have a check sent to me. They said it would be sent the next day (should get within 10 business days). All investments were sold, but no check was sent!?!???!?!? I had to call 3 weeks later, was told that no check was sent !??!?!, promised that one would be fedexed next day. We'll see,,,,,

      Business is impossible to get anything resolved with. The minute I can actually access my information; I will be transferring all funds out of ***. Everything you read online about LPL is true. If you receive notification that your account will be transferred to them, do whatever you can to get your funds sent elsewhere.

      Why does this business have an A- rating when all the reviews are 1 star? My review:WORST financial company ever! I wanted to transfer funds to another financial institution, which took 3 weeks and more than 8 telephone calls (after the initial paperwork was received by them). In the end, they took over $200 in fees ($15 to ****** $165 + another $40 for additional fees), which were not disclosed to me. My funds were in a [supposedly] no-fee account, and I asked about transfer fees during every call. It was the worst headache I have ever had with any financial company in my entire life. They were the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. I am almost 65 years old and have had experiences with many firms. To say my experience was terrible would be an understatement.

      ****. Letter requesting update of personal information, yet cannot tell me what is in MY account. Eventually person at the 1-855-phone number stated LPL is acting as middle man to the actual account. After 1.5 hours on phone, I was transferred to where my account was held because I was questioning the purpose of this company and letter received. DO NOT PROVIDE THEM WITH INFORMATION.

      I was assured over and over again that the account was set up as a special needs account with money my daughter's grandfather left her. My daughter has autism she is now 20 when child support ended I applied for disability. While waiting I used credit cards to survive thinking I will get back pay everything will work out. Surprise, it is a guardian account which counts as income. 2 years of me scraping by on just 1 income that I thought would end soon. What a nightmare, I hope they sleep well at night knowing the damage they have caused to me and my special needs daughter for their greed. I wish lying was against the law. Shame on them.

      In my 55 years of saving and investing for my retirement, LPL is by far the worst financial institution I've dealt with filled people who give you false and misleading information. They charge astronomical "advisory" fees. Case in point, I was charged $685 on an account I have been asking them to close/transfer to another investment company and they still are holding onto the funds stating this time that the funds my $ is invested in can only be liquidated on a quarterly prorated basis. Interesting how I'm hearing about this on the 6th inquiry about the account. When asked why I was charged an advisory fee, I was told that is up to the advisor. Is this true or false? Being nothing credible has been shared with me I find that hard to believe. I've asked to speak to a higher level of management and I'm going to submit an inquiry with *****. I will make this my pet project to get to the bottom of their lies and gangster-like money management.

      LPL just did my **** **** forms wrong they put my **** as taxable income caused me alot of headaches I agree a 1 star is to high for LPL
