    We booked a snorkeling tour with this company online through Get Your Guide (who I will also submit a complaint about), several weeks in advance. The payment was authorized the prior morning of the activity, and I received text and email confirmation of booking status. We arrived at the tour meeting spot (shop) 5 minutes early, but the shop was locked up and no one answered the business phone. We waited 30 minutes, but the tour guide was a no-show. I have since found several recent reviews online (attached) of others having the same experience. As there was no one at La Jolla Water Sports to contact for refund, I contacted the booking app. When I reached out to Get Your Guide for a full refund, they indicated they would not refund because we were only 5 minutes early, as opposed to the 10 minutes early as requested. I sent them all the same online reviews which clearly indicate this company has not been honoring their booked activities for some time now, and Get Your Guide still refused to refund us. Both these companies are willfully allowing bookings to be made, and then not following through with the paid service.
