      I had prenatal genetics drawn through LabCorp with whom Sequenom Laboratories is a subsidiary. After having my labs drawn I participated in Every Moms Pledge survey. The benefit of the survey was to pay no more than $299 out of pocket if insurance did not cover the genetic testing. I received 2-3 billing notices from ******* for $823.50 from February-April. I waited to contact the company allowing time for the bill to get sent through my insurance or for the survey discount to appear. By the 4th invoice from this company no changes in total amount due was made. I attempted several times to contact ******* to which I have been directed through patient billing and customer service and neither department is able to locate my account, despite sending me numerous bills. My account has now been sent to a collection agency who is also not able to explain why I was charged $823.50 after contacting them today to dispute the charge. As of today I have tried contacting ******* again and am met with the same sorry we cant find your account on file with us again despite numerous bills to my home address from them. I have reached out via email to this company to have someone look into my account and received no answer. I even followed up the email with a picture of the invoice and received no response. I attempted to record the call for documentation purposes today 6/20, but was told that I am not able to proceed if the call is recorded. I was told Im sorry for the inconvience but we can not locate your account I asked ********* when speaking to her that if there is no acct, why I have a bill and if she can call the collection agency to dispute to charge I was told that she was not able to call of my behalf.
