    Complaint *********** Lost Package Due to Improper Delivery Date of Transaction: February 22, 2025 Amount Paid: $400 Issue Summary:On February 22, 2025, *** was supposed to deliver my $400 package to my apartment, where I clearly provided my apartment number. Instead of delivering it to my door or placing it in a secure location, *** left it unattended in the mailroom, an unmonitored, open-access area (the mailbox was too big for the package, so the package was left on the ground, and the mailbox does not specify the unit number too.)I received no delivery notification, and because the package did not require a signature, I was unaware it had been delivered. The Amazon locker, just 10 feet away, was not used, and as a result, the package was stolen.***s Handling of the Issue:SkinCeuticals, the sender, directed me to *** to file a claim.During their investigation, the *** driver came to my door to collect my signature to confirm that the package was received, and they admitted the package was improperly delivered and left in an unsecured mailroom.Despite this admission, *** closed my claim, citing "proof of delivery," without resolving the issue.I contacted *** again, and they reopened the case, but they have not followed up with me since then.Nature of the ******************* Resolution:*** failed to deliver the package properly, leading to its theft. Delivered to the building DOES NOT mean a delivery. The delivery driver personally confirmed the mistake and had me sign a document verifying I never received it.Despite this, *** refuses to acknowledge the loss and SkinCeuticals will not issue a refund or replacement without ***s confirmation.I am requesting *** to take full responsibility and either issue a refund or provide a proof of no delivery to my sender so that they can give me replacement/refund, as this was a birthday gift for my mother that never arrived, and we were all very distress and upset.
