I cancelled a service, the "sales" team used deceptive and misleading tactics to push me into a "FREE" 2 month term, then without consent or emails started charging my company again even though i asked them several times to refund the amount and cancel my contract the "cancellation" agent gave me condescending responses and told me that basically he doesnt care and that they are right and i am wrong.Business Response

Housecall Pro does operate on a subscription basis, similar to platforms like ******** so it does auto renew based on your billing cycle, that information is all listed in our terms and conditions. On April 3, 2023 we sold a generator to Mr. **************************** Payment was made and arranged through Housecall Pro for the Credit Card charges, two charges per his request in total $8899.83. Email documentation was received with agreement that there would not be any charge backs for this generator. Housecall Pro refunded the monies to **************** without our knowledge, consent and no information on why his credit card was given a refund. Monies were taken back from us on April 26, 2023. This generator pick-up was arranged by **************** and was received April 18, 2023. Housecall Pro is totally unresponsive in regards to this dispute and we need resolution immediately. Housecall Pro is our credit card processing agent. We do not have an agreement with the credit card company so we cannot directly address this alleged dispute. I have contacted House call pro through the chat bubble to set up a call with continued no response. We are very disappointed. We implemented this charge according to our agreement with Housecall Pro our accounts are receiving overdraft fees and this is directly hurting our business. It is truly disturbing that we have a company that will process a large refund with first contacting the customer when it is a true valid charge.Business Response

On 4/3 I had expressed interest in the program and was immediately contacted by a salesman to walk me through it. I saw that there was a free trial and then he said for the remainder of the month I would be charged $23 which i assumed would take place if I continued my subscription past 14 days. I was charged immediately instead. Repeated attempts to contact my onboarding specialist with questions went unanswered and she even no showed a scheduled conference call. Within a few days (under 10) I decided this program was not for us. I tried chatting multiple times but the chat box doesn't work (wont let you type in it). I called to cancel and was told they are unable to transfer calls and it may take a month to get a call back from a specialist. I wanted a refund for my $23 but now theyre planning to wait to even call (which i doubt they will) until i'm charged for the month at a much higher fee than discussed. Repeated phone calls to this company have gone no where and they refuse to cancel my subscription or return my calls.Business Response

In June 21, 22 I reached out to Housecalls about their service programs. I asked "***" the salesman if there was a way to look at the program and see if its was something I would want to purchase for the company. I was told that I could pay $49.00 for 30 days and Housecalls would give me access so I could see what the program offered and how it would work with quickbooks. *** (salesman) told me the program was cloud based and after 30 days I would no longer have no login access unless I contracted with Housecalls. At the time, June 21, 2022, I was interviewing with a company that didn't have invoice/payment programs in their service trucks and was asked to research some sources. I logged in about 5 times and played with the program but soon discovered it was not what I wanted. I was hired a few months later and forgot about Housecalls completely. Several months later I discover my checking account was being debited almost $300.00 a month. I immediately contacted them and they indicated they would look into it confirming I had not logged in 5 plus months. It's going on 3 months since I first reached out with multiple emails and phone calls it seems they have no plans to refund almost $1900.00 they illegality stole. They have not responded to any emails or follow up on their promises or to get back with me by phone. I continue to call and they pull up all the conversation we've had over the months but they have done nothing. Their real colors are now showing.Business Response

I have been using housecall pro for about a month and as a company we regret using this service if your calling in regards to money owed as the last reviews show they Will hang up after canceling my service with housecall pro now they are holding payments made from my customers we received a payment sunday today is Thursday and they have not released my funds this is theft they advertise two business days for payout before canceling my service we got our payments right away now they have turned off my instantpay without my consent and have not payed money I received from MY CUSTOMERS this company is filled with fraudsters look elsewhere for crm HOUSECALL PRO IS A SCAM GOING BACK TO JOBBERBusiness Response

I signed up for VOIP and the switch with all honesty was very smooth. I was reassured the since i was on the "high" volume plan, It was unlikely that i would exceed the **** minute cap. I have been on the plan now for 2 days and will exceed the limit on day 3. I was mislead from the beginning and don't mind paying additional fees for service.... but exceeding the limit in 3 days, unethical business and sales practices.Business Response

ok i have been paying for services from housecall pro now for some months but i have yet to get to use the service i emailed stating i wanted to cancel i then got a call and i informed the lady as well and now ive been charged a week later! i want my money back for all these months i didnt use your serviceBusiness Response

On 12/22/2022 I was charged $114 by Housecall Pro. They aggressively called me multiple times a day until I caved in and said I would watch their demo in exchange for a $50 gas card. When it was over it took me weeks to get them to send the card. Then, I was billed when I specifically told them I wasn't interested in joining until at least next year. When I called "customer service" they claimed they could not hear me, I called 6 different times on multiple phones (I never have an issue with calls) eventually the other line said they could hear me, although I could barely hear them. I said I wanted my money back and then suddenly they couldn't hear me anymore. Avoid this business like the plague, they are crooks, liars, and thieves.Business Response
