  This company is beyond dishonest and unethical. They sent me an invoice for a service I received nearly two years ago. I had not received any communication from them up to this point. My doctor indicated a cost for this service and the invoice was for an amount well over the cost. I spoke to my insurance company and they informed me that their invoice was immediately rejected as out-of-network, and that they had informed Prometheus within 10 days nearly two years ago. I attempted to call their customer service, and there was no connection to a representative. I attempted to make a payment twice online, but their online system said my account didn't exist. They have now submitted the invoice to Collections after two years without communication. I have been inundated with collection calls. This company needs to be shut down. They are taking advantage of people, and their practices are horrific.

  I received a bill in April 2023 stating service from July 2021. Two years later. Then the bill did not say what services they did no detailed services described. They (I think it was them) texted me about making a payment. I ignored and received another bill in May 2023. In June I received a bill from a collection agency. They are headquartered in ********** and the collection agency was from ********. I also tried calling them and after each time being on hold for 30 minutes I would hang up. What a colossal mess. So uncustomer oriented company and I dont think they are up front on their billing.

  I am just now getting a bill for blood work that I had done for my GI in 2021. I know they didn't run it through both of my insurances, because I wouldn't have a balance if they did. I've went through this before where I had to call and ask them to run it through my primary and secondary insurance, and they apologized because it should've been ran through both but wasn't. Now I am having the same issue again, but I have called them numerous times to try to get it fixed, but I can't get through to anyone, so I sit on hold for 30 minutes every time I call. Last time I couldn't get ahold of them at all until it went to collection. I left a message and we'll see if they get back to me.

  Simply the most unethical diagnostic company on planet earth. They send bills out of the blue over 1 year old, then have people who sound like collection agencies call you for not paying. Someone has to take legal action to shut this company down or at a minimum replace senior management and their co-called accounting ***** They should not be allowed to interact with the ********* ****************** I agree with all of the below - the BBB needs to create a zero star rating.

  Despite having a contractual agreement with my Healthcare provider to only charge a certain amount they charge full price and refuse to change the amount or admit to any fault in the billing charges. Sent bill to collections while still trying to work with them. Terrible.

  If I could give this company zero stars I would I have tried and tried to contact this company if answers to my bill my insurance said it was covered and they sent a bill tried calling general phone its all automated no way of getting a live person to help. Never doing business with this company again its the worst service Ive have seen.

  They failed to charge my insurance properly. My insurance says they paid in full of what they were billed but then sent me to collections for $2,500 I have been trying every day to call and try to sort out the billing issue but they don't return my ****** and don't answer the phone. I am not paying out of pocket $2,500 when I don't even understand why and no one will contact me. Reading other comments perhaps we need a class action lawsuit.

  Prometheus Labs billed +12 months after date of service, no record at insurance company that they even tried to file the claim. This was long after all my medical spending accounts were closed for the year of course. Got a letter from them with the comment "If you require any additional information, please feel free to contact me directly at the contact information listed below." .... No name or contact info anywhere on the letter.

  A year later after their service, I got a ****, but the payment website on the **** didn't work. I called them to pay on the phone, but they said I couldn't and they were aware that the payment website was bad. I told them to send me a **** with a payment website that worked. A month later I get a letter from ****************. Prometheus Labs has all my contact info, but instead of sending me a legitimate **** that has accurate information, they reported me to a credit collector!? This after waiting a year to **** me in the first place... Not a legitimate business.
