    I used this company to move. I used a Groupon. I was charged 551. 75.On November 25 then just recently on February 5 they charged me another ****** when contacted the company the man we spoke with said he would contact the lady in charge of all this and get back to us. We have not heard anything we have called multiple times over 15 times now they wont even answer our calls I put a stop payment with my bank but this is become a big hassle. I would like to have a corrected and not be charged to double charge months later.

    Moving date was 11/30/23 They offered me a discount for paying cash so I have no way of disputing this service. Movers damaged my property, Ive been seeking support and reimbursement for the damage caused and they are now rejecting my calls. Movers stole from me Movers made holes in the wall, stained my carpet, smoked right outside my property, one of the employees didnt help much so they took much longer than they needed to. *** tried to resolve this with the owners and supervisor and they keep giving me the run around.

    I hired movers on Friday 8/18/23 at 9am for a move from my place at ************************* San Diego ** ***** to **** *********** 365 San Diego ** *****. During the move the movers damaged and totally destroyed my **. I first tried to book with SD Quality Moving over the phone and was directed to book online. When I did I never received any type of contract, invoice, document or confirmation. I called back in and they made me book again and same thing happened and **** said the guys will be there on Friday don't worry. When the movers first got to my place they immediately started the move. I still was not given any contract, documentation, etc. At the end of the move I noticed from afar a weird **** on the corner of my **. When I inspected it you could clearly see it was badly damaged. I called ***** one of the movers to inspect it and he confirmed that it was damaged and said he would call his boss right away. He then told me that the insurance only covers .60 cents to a pound. This was the first time I ever heard of this insurance policy and if I had known that I would have never hired them or at least asked for increased cover because a lot of my furniture is expensive. At the end of the move they tried to get me to finally sign a contract (first time seeing any documentation) that stated the insurance policy. I refused to sign it and instead they had me just sign the bottom of the contract claiming receipt of payment. I am demanding that they pay for the full cost of replacing the ** with a like kind or exact replacement of my **. I paid $2,585.64 for the ** back in Nov 2 2023. For supporting documents, I unfortunately do not have any emails or documentation from the company as I did not receive anything.

    I booked moving services for 5/21/2022 with SD Quality Moving. The estimated cost I received for moving the furniture in my 2 bedroom unit 4.5 miles within San Diego was $169.00 based on a 3 hour minimum at $129/hour after 2 hours pre-paid with a Groupon voucher. The move ultimately took 6 hours, including a 1 hour break for the movers, instead of the estimated 3 hours. With the Groupon pre-paid for 2 hours, I paid $559.70. I have two issues:1) On my final bill, the charges do not correlate to the unit prices. a) The moving charge of $387 should be $129/hour x 6 hours total = $774 b) The discount of $90.35 should be the Groupon discount for 2 hours of moving, which would be $129 x 2 = $258. c) The mileage is incorrectly listed as ***** miles; the distance on ****** Maps for a path that is truck accessible is **** miles, and with the double time for drive time charge, the total mileage would be 9.0 miles. This is also misleading since the hourly charges include the drivers' time. It looks like the fuel fee is a flat rate, but it is unclear based on the bill. d) The total amount due should be $774 - $258 + $40 = $556 based on the unit prices. 2) I emailed SD Quality Moving on 5/27/2022 about damage to two dressers that they moved and carried upside down, which broke the sliding drawers. I received no response. I emailed again on 6/2/2022, and received a on 6/2/2022 response requesting photos of the damage. I responded on 6/15/2022 with photos and videos of the damage. I received no response. I emailed again on 6/8/2022 and 6/14/2022 and did not receive a response. In my email on 6/14/2022, I notified SD Quality Moving that I planned to reach out to BBB for assistance in resolving this issue.Contract Item 1B: The carrier shall be liable only for its failure to use ordinary care and then only in the amount of customer's declared valuation of the goods. The burden of proving negligence or failure to use the care required by law shall be upon the customer.
