      Ace Relocation Systems moved my belongings from ********, ** to *********, ** (Order # A0075005515) in January 2022. The cost was $3610. The contract included a charge for $35,000 worth of insurance. During the move, furniture and other items were damaged. I submitted a single claim for the damages on 09/17/22, within the 9 month deadline, along with photos of the damages and estimates for the cost of repairing some items and replacing other items. The estimates totaled $8,776.67. *****************************, the ***************** representative for my claim, questioned the accuracy of the claim, based on what are inaccurate Condition at Origin descriptions contained in the Household Goods Bill of Lading. I was not given an opportunity to review these descriptions prior to the move, and in fact, was not even aware that they existed until after I submitted my claim. Otherwise, I would have disputed them. I subsequently provided ****** with pre-move photos of several items that clearly show that the items did not have the damages described in the Bill of Lading. I also provided him with post-move photos of other items that clearly show that these items still do not have the damages described in the Bill of Lading even after the move. My last discussion with ****** on 01/19/23 did not resolve the impasse because his best settlement offer was $1,768.20. At that time, he told me that he would confer with his manager, *****************************, to see if anything additional could be offered, and that he would get back to me in about 2 weeks time. I did not hear back from him, and due to other life events, was unable to check back with him for an update until 08/30/23. At that time, he told me that his manager had attempted to contact me by both email and phone, without success. I have no record of any such emails or missed phone calls. I called her on 08/30/23, left a phone message and asked her to return my call. I still have not been contacted by her.

      Ace Relocation Systems recently moved my family from ****** to ********. During the process, several items were lost or stolen. Despite insurance for the move, the company is denying the claim based on the fact that we signed for the boxes at the receiving end and did not immediately identify the loss. My retort is that we were unable to identify the losses until the boxes were unpacked. We signed an inventory for receipt of boxes that were packed in ******. Not an inventory for boxes with itemized contents.
